My name is Joakim as mentioned in the question above. I'm 28 years old and i live in a small town here in the middle of Sweden together with my girlfriend and our dog. I work as a youth leader and always worked with kids/teenagers my entire career and i love my work. Besides that i ride alot of motocross on my sparetime & enjoy spending some time playing games such as world of warcraft for an example. I don't mind a good movie and a beer on a friday night either actually. [/b][/b]

Describe your choice of talents and why you've chosen them:
I love this question, I actually consider it quite the rough one to reply as i play the class it just falls natural for me to pick the talents. Depending on a assassination rogue there's really 2x ways you can talent. Either you can go bleed or poison build. Bleed is actually the one i enjoy abit more to play tho Poison is the one that's abit stronger at the moment and the one im playing. The way i find out what build is "the best" for me at the moment is by checking my character secondary stats and also by simulating my character to maximize my performance.
Haste/crit is stat prio now instead of mastery for assa, Mastery if you want to cleave, the same with sub specc mostly as stat prio. Still find assassination the most fun so no big changes here really, Playing mostly sub at the moment tho.
The most effective reason for doing this is to have an eye on the stats everytime you switch out a part of your gear, And by always simulating the character to get the most out of it. I always keep my character up to date by checking stats, gems, enchants, simulating it and always keeping it at top performance to get the most of my character in raid environments.
How do you prioritize your stats and why?
Depends on what build i play but below you can find the stat prio
Poison: Agi -> Mastery -> Versatility
Bleed build: Agi -> Versatility -> Crit
Depending on my versa/agi/crit stat i change btw the poison/bleed build as noted in a question above.
What state is your Artifact in?
Level: 24
Where do you acquire knowledge about your Class?
Im active on the rogue discord & their ravenholdt website (rogue guide). Icy-Veins class guides/forum. Mmo-champion for patch notes about my class/the game in general, Statweights, Simulationcrafting through raidbots gearwise/relics/gear comparing etc.
Also discussing with other fellow rogue players for tips/discussions and questions ofc.
If i can improve my playstyle, I want do to it, Always.
Image of my UI : https://imgur.com/a/onZm6jt (didn't seem to work with the img code for some reason.)
I currently don't have a picture of my UI in raid environment but i provided an image of my UI together with my weakauras etc. While raiding there isn't that much of a difference except the bigwigs bars, some raid specific weakauras etc that isn't shown on the picture.

Raiding History:
Describe your previous/current raiding experience:
Yes, I have been raiding ever since i started this game back in TBC release - Had my fair share of raiding and also as everyone else some game breaks along the way due to IRL situations as studies/work etc. I cleared the most content blizzard had to offer within the PvE section of the game as of the years went by. Below is some cutting edge achievements that shows some of the work i've done and besides these raids below i could add as stated earlier i cleared the most raids.
* If you want a more specific list of what i cleared during the expansions let me know and i'll make sure to inform you about it.

Cutting Edge: Garrosh 25 man

Tell us about your previous guilds and your reasons for leaving them:
Played in <Blacklist> until we didn't had members for the raid and the officers & guild master decided to disband and stop raiding. So currently looking for a new guild in the future that matches my work better and doing some raiding in a friends guild when i can but their schedule doesn't work with my job so only temporary while looking for a new stable home for the rest of the expansion and to raid together with in BFA.
* Played with <Curse of the years> in Antorus (that's you guys!) And left due to family matters. I've told Gnarl about it so if curious why whisper her please as i dont want to write it down in the application.
More Information:
Can you meet our raid schedule of Wed/Thur/Mon 21:00 to 00:00 server time with at least 90% attendance?
Yes, Recently started my new job as a youth leader and by this as mentioned im looking for a home with a better raidschedule to fit my working hours. I work until 20.00 tuesday, wednesday & thursday. Due to this workschedule your raidtimes and days fits me perfectly to be able to maintain a 100% raid attendance and at the same time work at my job without any stress to get home.
There is a 5 minute walk to my work so never any issues turning up late such as stuck in traffic for example since i take a quick walk to the job, and home.
We are raiding Sundays at start of each Tier for 3-4 weeks. Are you aware of it?
Yes, And that will not be an issue. I will have no problem showing up and keeping a maxed out raid attendance.
Are you able to Listen and Speak on Teamspeak?
Yes, Of course!
What qualities do you bring to a Raid?
The qualities i bring to a raid is that im very active and have no issues to maintain a very high raid attendance, Had a 100% attendance in the last guild and didn't miss out on a single raid and that's what i always aim for when im raiding together with a because of the fact i just love to raid, i love that shit. Other then that i have patience and have been raiding ALOT in the past. So i know how it works, i don't mind wiping for hours on raidnights and it doesn't get my in a bad mood either. I keep a smile on my face and just enjoy the raiding, either if it's wiping or killing bosses. Because at the end of the day. You have fun, you play with other people, you socialize with other guildmates and you progress together, and kill together. It's all about the team, your progress and the teamwork that you put out to finally kill the boss as a team. It's a good feeling and one that i love to share with others.
How comfortable are you playing your offspecs?
Comfortable, Mostly doing Sub/assa at the moment depending on encounter.
How do you feel about progression raiding?
I love it, There's no reason to raid if you don't progress raid. Thats the beauty of raiding to wipe for hours/days/week to achieve that awesome feeling when you actually manage to kill that boss.
Where did you hear about Curse of Years and do you know anyone in the guild?
Know you from before, First time i heard of you was wowprogress.com
What encouraged you to apply to Curse of Years?
Been raiding with you earlier before my break i had after we killed argus (Gnarl know's why so you can get info from her about it as mentioned earlier in the application) and i enjoyed it. And i noticed you were looking for a Rogue.
Do you play outside of raid?
Yes, Im logged on daily and playing the game. I love the game and it's an great way to relax or just have a good time.
Is there anything else you'd like to add to your application?
Not really, hope the application was a good read and that i gave you all the answers you were looking for. If you have any other questions feel free to hook me up in a reply here or on my btag. Will check this application daily for updates.
Tell us a joke:
- Anton, do you think I’m a bad mother?
