General:
Your Name, Age, Gender and Location:
My name is Mads. I am a 23 year old male, currently living in Denmark.
Tell us a little bit about yourself (non-WoW related Interests, Hobbies etc)
I am studying to become a Lab Technician and during my spare time I am part of a local event crew, arranging LAN events, eSports viewing event and movie night. I occasionally play Dungeons and Dragons with friends.

Battletag:
Blazejumper#2489
Describe your choice of talents and why you've chosen them:
Prot: Either the defensive 22xx1x1 or the aggressive 21xx1x2 depending on the content.
Ret: 12x2xx2 is the highest simming talents for me currently. Once I get T21 2p I will swap to 13x2xx2 due to the bigger emphasis on Judgment.
How do you prioritize your stats and why?
Prot: For defensive I follow a rough guideline of Haste > Mastery = Vers > Crit. For aggressive I sim my stats, usually Haste >= Crit > Mastery = Vers.
Ret: I always sim my stats for Ret since they are very close.
What state is your Artifact in?
75 traits in both Prot and Ret, currently working on getting 75 Holy, then back to mainspec.
Where do you acquire knowledge about your Class?
Almost exclusively via the Paladin Discord channel.

Raiding History:
Describe your previous/current raiding experience:
MoP: Came back at the start of SoO, got to Spoils.
WoD: Got to Twin Ogron in Highmaul, Blackhand in BRF and Mannoroth in HFC
Legion: Cleared EN, got to Helya in ToV, Elisande in NH and Maiden in ToS.
Tell us about your previous guilds and your reasons for leaving them:
Outcast was an F&F guild. Left for Legends of Chaos. Left for Eternal Champions due to guild and raid drama. Left for Mystical Odour due to raid team collapsing. Currently in Mystical Odour, suffering from a raid team reduced to half from ToS fatigue.

More Information:
Can you meet our raid schedule of Wed/Thur/Mon 21:00 to 00:00 server time with at least 90% attendance?
Previously raided Wed-, Sun-, Monday from 20:00 to 23:30, so meeting the same amount of days but at a reduced time should be more than fine.
We are raiding Sundays at start of each Tier for 3-4 weeks. Are you aware of it?
I am aware and prepared to push at the start of a raid.
Are you able to listen and speak on Teamspeak?
Absolutely. I am usually a bit quiet until I have learned some voices and gotten a feel for the atmosphere during a raid. After that I will join in on speaking much more freely.
What qualities do you bring to a Raid?
I have been described as a very dedicated player. I try my utmost to make sure I perform at a top level whether it being through tactics and strategy, gear optimisation, consumables etc. I hate being the reason for wipe and therefore push myself to become the best I can, tanking, healing or just generally as a raider.
I am a very skilled Protection Paladin and a skilled Retribution Paladin with a great awareness during a fight and an solution oriented mindset.
How comfortable are you playing your offspecs?
I am very comfortable playing Retribution. I started playing it midway through NH and have picked it up as a proper offspec in ToS. If Protection is a 10, Retribution would be a 9.
I have only played very little Holy as I do not like the playstyle of it currently.
How do you feel about progression raiding?
I find progression raiding to be extremely satisfying. Spending hours and hours on a boss, learning it bit by bit, only to finally take it down as a team. That is the greatest feeling I can get from WoW.
Where did you hear about Curse of Years and do you know anyone in the guild?
I have been on Arathor since 2013 and you have always stood out as being the best placed Horde guild on the server.
I do not know anyone in Curse of Year.
What encouraged you to apply to Curse of Years?
My current guild have decided to halt Mythic raiding due to a severe lack of raiders. I still want to raid and Heroic doesn’t cut it at all. I figured I would at least apply to the best guilds on the server, to see if I had a chance at a trial, before I would have to search outside Arathor.
Do you play outside of raid?
I log on WoW every day with very few exceptions. Either to run dungeons, do WQS, farm old content, mess around farming weird old mats –usually all of this with friends.
Is there anything else you'd like to add to your application?
I am currently Alliance however I do have had thoughts about going Horde again for a while now. If it is in the cards for me to have a chance at joining Curse of Years, I wouldn’t be against swapping faction.
I have applied to a couple of other guilds since this is the start of a new raid and I wouldn’t want to get behind the frontline of progression simply due to not having a guild.
Tell us a joke:
I hate jokes about german sausages. They are the wurst.
