So i m currently working as a contractor for a bank complaint department while i finish studying some Python/Java coding, Networking and few other bits. Previously worked as a Network engineer for a IT company so rather into my computer and few other bits. I tend to also to go the gym on weekends or some times after work

Describe your choice of talents and why you've chosen them:
Unleash life works amazingly with chain heal + jonats but i have swapped between that and torrent depending on fight
Graceful spirit i tend to swap between this and wind rush totem. Normally i would pick wind rush as it is able to help the entire raid where as Graceful Spirit just makes it nice for a 60 seconds less on spiritwalker grace to heal on the move more often as there is a lot of movement
Lightning surge totem for the AOE stun for trash and adds on fights. Earthgrab is another i would use depending on if a root was needed.
Ancestral Guidance - This is a massive heal for shamans making 20% of your healing heal up 3 nearby injured party of raid members this is the better in the tier as can use it with cloudburst
Earthen Shield Totem - I have selected this as the totem works really nicely as a shield on everyone who is within 10 yards of this. Ancestral Protection totem is another one in that tier i swap too as it allows you to cheese a combat rez and providing 10% increase health within 20 yards of this totem
Cloudburst totem- This is a strong totem that stores all healing from healing spells then at the end it releases all stored up healing within 40 yards - Another that i may swap to would be Echo of the elements this is nice for having an additional riptide and healing stream totem
- High tide - This makes chain heal stronger by boucning to additional target and reduces the healing that is dropped per bounce of chain heal.
How do you prioritize your stats and why?
As Resto shaman, I have prioritized Intellect > Mastery > Crit > Haste > Versatility
intellect itself is self explanatory the higher your Intellect the higher your heals will be, Next is Mastery this is deep healing for shamans and it is one of the better strengths of taking a shaman. The more damage the raid takes the better the shaman is able to perform. The higher the mastery is the better the heal at lower health will be.
I have then gone Crit, This is rather nice to get as well (I am running bit lower than would like on this but doing some jigging around with my gear to try get it a tad higher without dropping under mastery too much) Crit ofc doubles the strength of the heal, But it procs Resurgence for resto shamans this gives a % of the heals mana back. This also helps out with an trait on weapon (Queen Ascendant and Refreshing Currents).
Haste and Versatility can be quite useful but are both outshined by the other two

Raiding History:
Describe your previous/current raiding experience:
Current raid experience i have helped my current guild clear up to 6/10 Mythic NH and have helped them with their TOV progression though this was after Nighthold was released.
Previous experience i have pretty much been on Wow since end of vanilla and had done some raiding from TBC but it has been on multiple different characters dependent on the guilds needs and wants. I have raided in every expansion.

Sentenced - Please see below regarding why on what encouraged you to apply to Curse of Years
Valhall - I left when the core raiders left as some older players came back and didn't want to progress (same as Nick)
Divine Edge - Group of IRL friends this guild normally starts off strong but like always people stopped showing up and raids became fewer and fewer

Can you meet our raid schedule of Wed/Thur/Mon 21:00 to 00:00 server time with at least 90% attendance?
Yeah that should be fine, Its bit better for me as Weds and Thurs are both Days where i can be held up at work and end up late for my current guild which raids at 20:30
We are raiding Sundays at start of each Tier for 3-4 weeks. Are you aware of it?

Yup, I am able to listen and speak on Teamspeak. Would just need to download as current guild has Discord instead.
What qualities do you bring to a Raid?
I am a very quick learner tactically, and i am able to adjust depending on the situation. Also Spirit link totem/Ancestral Totem when needed.
How do you feel about progression raiding?
I enjoy the challenge of progression raiding. Spending hours wiping just to take it down that feeling !

What encouraged you to apply to Curse of Years?
Nick(Babalas) has encouraged me to apply as in my current guild i joined as a resto but as it went they have stuck to the same process as before and kept recruiting people and now there is a lot of healers and i end up sidelined to play DPS which really has struck at my logs or benched for the trials to be trialed. But it has given me the chance to learn to play Elemental which is something i could never quite come to terms with, also pretty excited by the enhance buffs coming. Happy enough to do some fights as DPS when another healer isnt required but when it happens almost all fights it becomes a tad annoying :)
Do you play outside of raid?
Yeah i play wow outside of raid time to do world quests and pvp to build up my AP. Also i level a lot of alts AK40 is really a blessing now :smiley:
