Tell us a little bit about yourself (non-WoW related Interests, Hobbies etc)
I'm a pretty I'm somewhat of an old soul, I don't typically enjoy things other people my age generally enjoy (Partying etc), my idea of a fun friday night is a stockpile of snacks and gaming the evening away, whether that be Mythic+ on WoW or premade HoTS games with friends or... My true guilty pleasure, watching documentaries/reading about the supernatural/occult/anything spooky. Outside of my free time I spend gaming. I have a real thirst for knowledge, I always love learning about something new no matter how silly or mundane what I learnt was x)

Battletag: Seren#21561
Describe your choice of talents and why you've chosen them:
My talents though they can vary between bosses are currently the best options in terms of pure healing output, the mana sustain needed for the longevity of Nighthold fights where there is very little downtime (Botanist for example)
How do you prioritize your stats and why?
Holy priests currently go for Mastery above all else to at least 35-40%, with crit following as a close second (preferably around the 20-25% mark) then having haste at around 15% or higher to help with the current Prayer of Mending/Renew meta that holy priests are currently in.
What state is your Artifact in? Holy(54) - Disc (54) Shadow (50)
Where do you acquire knowledge about your Class? Most of my priest knowledge comes from a mixture of the WoW forums, Icyveins, How2priest and a highly renowned Holy priests youtube/website (Jakbcastin)

Raiding History:
Describe your previous/current raiding experience:
I've been a raider since Naxx in WoTLK, with a mixture of casual, semi-hardcore and what i'd consider "hardcore" (15+) hours a week over the years, I cleared everything except Ulduar on atleast normal in WoTLK with some pretty nice heroic clears in ICC (11/12HC) though I couldn't commit to hardcore raiding then due to my age at the time. - Come Cataclysm it was a similar story, everything cleared on atleast normal with some heroic progression here in there in the first two tiers. I then went on to clear the entire Dragon Soul on heroic. When Mist of Pandaria hit I really wasn't enjoying the game much at that time and completely dropped raiding for the first two tiers and came back in SoO where I cleared all on mythic apart from Garrosh :'(. - In WoD I didn't really do all to much mythic untill HFC came which I cleared most of (apart from Archimonde.. I've only just realised there has been somewhat a pattern here ><). - Then Legion came where I can honestly say i've been having the best time raiding since WoTLK, I cleared EN 7/7M, ToV 3/3M and just got botanist with my soon to be previous guild making me 5/10M.
Tell us about your previous guilds and your reasons for leaving them:
My previous guilds in Legion have seemed to be somewhat messy upto this point, I started Legion in a guild with a group of friends I had played with in WoD before they had to disband back then due to real life commitments, when the resurgence came just before Legion I was pretty excited - though unfortunately it seemed quite a few of their hearts weren't in it not long after launch and the guild took a turn for the worse. I then moved onto a guild where another one of my old friends was raiding in and needed a healer, things started out pretty well with them and it was there I actually progressed with them all the way to 7/7M in EN. However there was quite a lot of drama and corruption among the officers.. which lead to them dragging raiders into their drama and arguments which overall lead to me leaving them, due to it just being to much of a toxic environment. I then ended up in the guild i'm currently in where i've been since just before the new year, I've loved the guild most of my time i've been here and i'm pretty disappointed with how things have turned out with them, they were in the process of a somewhat guild merge as I joined them and it's taken a bit of a turn for the worse due to clashing interests, it doesn't feel like a guild at all anymore. It's more like two factions who raid together and make passive aggression jabs at each other, it's lead to a lot of negativity in the guild and has caused some people to step down from the guild already, and now unfortunately me as the situation is only getting worse.
More Information:
Can you meet our raid schedule of Wed/Thur/Mon 21:00 to 00:00 server time with at least 90% attendance?
I can :)
We are raiding Sundays at start of each Tier for 3-4 weeks. Are you aware of it?
I am!
Are you able to Listen and Speak on Teamspeak?
Yes and yes
What qualities do you bring to a Raid?
I bring a focused, calm and positive mindset to a raid that's always fully prepared for the tasks at hand.
How do you feel about progression raiding?
Progress raiding.. at least to me is about more than loot, or logs for that matter. Sure those things are great and all but I care more that i'm enjoying the people i'm playing. After all, a boss kill feels amazing when you've finally killed it, and that feeling is escalated in my opinion by the fact you're enjoying who you play with. I'd rather wipe 300 times on a boss with people I enjoy the company of than 50 times with people who I don't.
Where did you hear about Curse of Years and do you know anyone in the guild?
I was approached on the Warcraft LF guild forums :)
What encouraged you to apply to Curse of Years?
The conversation I had with Ryna seemed very much like our common interests in raiding etc were very much the same.
Do you play outside of raid?
Hah.. More than I should x)
Is there anything else you'd like to add to your application?
Not that I can think of :)
Tell us a joke: Does my DPS as shadow count..? (Truly awful)
