Character Related Information...

  • Pick two encounters and describe which talents and glyphs (and possibly spec) you use, and why.:
I'm usually going for simplicity on early progression, which would mean selfless healer, sanctified wrath and final verdicts as talents and Clemency and Lights Hammer to benifit raid in some fights. My glyph choices are focused on self healing and survivability as there are really no major dps choices except excorcism which is a tradeoff.
  • How do you prioritise your stats?:
With my current gear it's Mastery > everything else > Haste. But the statsweights are within 8% margin of eachother, so it's always worth an extra ilvl upgrade.
  • Where do you acquire information and knowledge about your class?:
sim, napkin, elitist jerks, icy veins.
  • Paste your UI via IN COMBAT.:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0QWVG5XihwY - it's an old video, but I haven't really changed anything since.
  • Link to your raid logs using LINK.:
https://www.warcraftlogs.com/rankings/character/358238/latest Some HFC HC bosses with 685 gear. Nothing to be ashamed off, but the numbers are low because gear.å
  • Describe your past/current raid experience.:
I've raided with A Necessary Evil since late Cataclysm and been on every progress kill unti thel end of MoP (SoO HC) when I stopped raiding. We failed to finish HoF, ToeS and ToT before nerfs.

At one point I transferred to Twisting Nether Realm where I joined first one, then another hardcore guild that both fell apart shortly after I joined, so I ended up tranferring back to ANE.

More Information...

  • Raid times: Can you meet our raid schedule of Wed/Thur/Mon 21:00 to 00:00 server time? (Optional raid on Sunday). Note that on start we raid of tier Wed/Thu/Mon/Sun and then push Heroic on Sunday as optional raid.:
    Wednesday, Thursday, Monday, Sunday
  • Teamspeak: Are you comfortable with using voice communications when necessary?:
    Yes
  • What qualities do you bring to a raid?:
I am always well prepaired, have the best pre-raid gear in new tiers and consumables etc ready for all raids.

I am responsive and reliable and ready to use my abilities and cooldowns to help strengthen the raid.

  • Share how you feel about progression raiding.:
Progression beats the hell out of farming. I will be there for every progression in legion try to get the best chance of getting the progression kills.
  • What are your faults in relation to raiding?:
If too many people are slacking I will start to slack myself.
  • Where did you hear about us? What encouraged you to apply?:
Your progress, server group and I have played with Cobbie in ANE.
  • Is there anything else you would like to say?:
I'm sorry I can't bring better gear. I have hardly raided any content in WoD and it's been a long break for me. I hope you will ask Cobbie or if you know any other people you might know who have been on Hellfire or in A Necessary Evil back in MoP to vouch for me.

If you don't want to take part in gearing me up, I understand. I wouldn't join another guild to gear up just to leave and then apply here, so if you want me, you have to take the chance.

  • What do you get excited about (non WoW related)?:
Cooking, Whisky, Warhammer and in the summertime I fly 6-channel RC helicopters.

Hi!

Thanks for your application. I will copy this to internal forum for evaluation and come with some questions either from me or any other member/officer.

Please stay tuned as weekend we are bit slacky during farm.

Cheers,
Yse.

How do you feel joining with lower (BRF) gear and what you think you could do to prove us till Legion that you are worth to take aboard? I'm asking because lately we are rather going partially only into HFC due to other activities like alt runs, pvp or as of late Alpha Legion. It wouldnt be something like gearing you in week or two to make you on par, but I'm certain there are other ways to sort it (app for Legion? etc?).

Apology for being straight forward but rather have some things sorted before going further and asking only because you doesn't seem like a random_guy.

Cheers,
Yse

Thank you for your reply.

Legion is still some time away, so I feel it would be silly to apply only for it.

For me it's more a case of whether there's chemestry than proving myself. I don't expect to be 13/13M and a full member within the next 2-3 weeks.

An active guild with alt runs and people who are not just logging on to farm and then back out is perfect for me. I don't mind at all going in alt runs to start with. If your officers are in the alt runs anyway, they can decide to let me join a HFC farm when they think I am ready.

I'll try and catch you ingame for a chat. I am online most evenings and nights at the moment.
