Character Related Information...

  • Pick two encounters and describe which talents and glyphs (and possibly spec) you use, and why.:
    High Council (M):
Since the raid is for the majority of time stacked and there is fairly high damage I focus on mistweaving although there are parts where fistweaving is viable (gurtogg, downtime on blademaster):

Chi Burst - Great for stacked occasions.
Rushing Jade Wind - Very strong heal while the raid is stacked.
    Pool of Mists
Chi Brew - Prefer this over Power Strikes since it gives more chi control during heavy damage.
Diffuse Magic - Since all heavy damage is magic.

Glyph of Renewing Mist - Nobrainer, always good to have the increased range.
Glyph of Targeted Expulsion - Prevents overhealing myself if someone else needs healing.
Glyph of Surging Mist - One less thing to worry about when fistweaving.

    Archimonde (M):
Monk healers spend most of their time dpsing on this fight so my talent choices are fistweaving oriented.

    Chi Burst
Xuen - Essentially a dps talent, RJW is unnecessary due to the low healing an MW does.
Power Strikes - Prefer this over Chi Brew when primarily fistweaving.
Diffuse Magic - Pretty much all damage is magic.
Pool of Mists - More RSK's, more DPS, more ReM's (4pc).

    Glyph of Targeted Expulsion
    Glyph of Surging Mist

More Information...

  • Raid times: Can you meet our raid schedule of Wed/Thur/Mon 21:00 to 00:00 server time? (Optional raid on Sunday). Note that on start we raid of tier Wed/Thu/Mon/Sun and then push Heroic on Sunday as optional raid.:
    Wednesday, Thursday, Monday, Sunday
  • Teamspeak: Are you comfortable with using voice communications when necessary?:
    Yes
  • What qualities do you bring to a raid?:
I'm a fast learner and can quickly adapt to different situations that may arise mid-try. I always come well prepared with all things that applies to raiding. I'm confident in doing extra tasks (e.g. Siegecrafter belt, Iron Maidens boat, etc.)
  • Share how you feel about progression raiding.:
Progression raiding is my biggest interest in wow. I have no issues spending entire raid nights on the same boss. Getting those tries where everything works like it's supposed to and you realize the boss is killable makes it worthwhile for me.
  • What are your faults in relation to raiding?:
I normally don't speak during raids unless it's absolutely vital, or I'm spoken to.
  • Where did you hear about us? What encouraged you to apply?:
I've heard alot about you through Ryan (was meaning to join Misanthropy together back in MoP after Manifest disbanded) and due to my current real life situation your raid hours suit me very well. You seem to be performing well for your restricted raid hours.
  • Is there anything else you would like to say?:
My plan for the future is to stay MW for HFC but I have lost interest for it so for Legion I plan to reroll back to my true main, a shadow priest (might consider Holy).

  • What do you get excited about (non WoW related)?:
TV shows, other games, sleeping, cars.

Hi,

Thanks for your application. As I already know quite a bit thru Ryan it should speed up the whole process.

Cheers,
