• What spec you'r playing and what you can tell us about it (inc. talents, glyphs, most important usage of your abilities)?:
I'm playing a survival specced hunter. The talents I use are:
Tier1: Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon: Cooldown reduction on deterrence and disengage make this a really good talent,
Tier2: Binding Shot: really nothing else that could benefit raid encounters.
Tier3: Iron Hawk but use Spirit Bond for fights where I take damage continuously like on imperator for instance.
Tier4: Thrill of the hunt: Helps with spamming multishot on adds and also to spam ArS on single target.
Tier5: A murder of crows. Good single target dps boost that scale with popping agility potions and agility trinkets. Stampede better for AOE.
Tier6: Barrage. Really good aoe ability used whenever there are more than 1 mob to shoot. On single target no tier6 ability is worth the focus, so better to just fire the normal shots.
Tier7: Focusing shot. Is a good dps boost and beats Lone Wolf in this respect. Using it requires a bit more planning with movement but the focus you get back from this talent alone really makes it a lot easier to maintain a good rotation, especially for aoe damage.

Glyph of Deterrence: mandatory increased damage mitigation.
Glyph of Disengage: for getting away faster.
Glyph of Animal Bond: Default choice for FS spec.

• What stats are you prioritize?:
Agility 1.0,
Multistrike 0.77,
Versatility 0.44,
Critical strike 0.43,
Mastery 0.32,
Haste 0.25
Multistrike is the single most important secondary stat survival hunters have at the moment followed by versatility which edges out critical strike rating by just a little bit. If you already have a high amount of crit on your gear versatility becomes even more valuable.

• Where do you acquire information and knowledge about your class?:
I acquire my class knowledge from the elitistjerks hunter forums and from the mmo-champion hunter forums. Especially Azortharion and Effinhunter who have done a lot of the theorycrafting work for hunters at the moment have contributed to my class knowledge.

• Share your guild history as well as reason for leaving them and your current guild ?:
The Wolf Clan
This was my first raiding guild in vanilla. I progressed a bit in MC with them until the guild disbanded due to some guild drama.
Insurrection
After the wolf clan got disbanded I took the opportunity of joining some good friends that I had made in Wolf Clan and became part of Insurrection. We began raiding 20-man content and had a really good time doing it. As we recruited more people to our guild we upgraded to running MC until we had cleared that and continued on to BWL and AQ20. In TBC we had a hard time finding enough people to do 25-man raids like Gruul so after we had cleared Karazhan there wasn't anything that we could do anymore and our last effort to recruit enough people for 25-man raids failed. At this point we collectively decided to disband the guild and we did it by everyone riding together up on the tallest mountain in the Barrens and took a screenshot and then promptly disbanded the guild there and then.
Maligned
At the same time as we disbanded Insurrection a hunter spot opened up in Maligned and I quickly applied and got in after a trial run in SSC where I was part of the guilds first Lurker kill.
I have been a part of Maligned ever since and raided actively with them until May 2011 when I took a break from wow due to my newborn baby daughter. At that point we had also struggled to get enough people for 25-man raiding and proceeded to become a 10-man raiding guild and that was a change I didn't enjoy as I had always thought big raids were an integral part of wow.
I moved on to play Star Wars The Old Republic and raided actively in that game until I finally returned to wow now with this expansion.
Warlords of Draenor has lured a lot of old Maligned players back to the game and we are currently raiding regularly 3 times per week quite casually.

• Describe your past/current raid experience:
Vanilla
MC, BWL and AQ20
TBC
Cleared everything up to Muru pre nerf. After the nerf we killed the rest in Sunwell.
WOTLK
Cleared everything including server first Lich King.
Cataclysm
Cleared all normal raid encounters before firelands and I don't remember where we were on heroic progress when I stopped playing in 2011.
Mists of Pandaria
Mainly just leveled and did a few LFR and dailies. Did SoO just before the release of Warlords of Draenor. I really didn't like the whole Pandaria expansion.
Warlords of Draenor
Have completed 7/7 normal highmaul and 6/7 heroic. 7/10 normal BRF and 4/10 heroic BRF.

• Please list your alts via LINK:
I have no lvl100 alts. My highest alts are a lvl82 Druid and a lvl81 Death Knight that I played actively in WOTLK.

More Information..

• Raid times: Can you agree with our raid times 21:00 to 00:00 Server time (UTC+1 also Sunday for extra raids)?:
wednesday, thursday, sunday, monday
• Teamspeak: Can you use, SPEAK and LISTEN to Teamspeak?:
Yes
• You and us: Would you be willing to modify or change your spec to assist the guild?:
Yes
• What our guild can benefit from your class and yourself as a player?:
As a hunter I am a very mobile ranged dps that can perform several different tasks while still dishing out good damage. We have several good abilities that for instance help us get out of stuff, mitigate damage, dispel and a 6 sec raidwide cast while moving buff. As a player I am loyal and helpful. I like to help out anyway I can if people need help with a quest, mob, achievement or something else and I'm not preoccupied elsewhere.
• What is your attitude towards progress/what motivate you in WoW?:
What motivates me is making progress and overcoming challenging encounters. An encounter that is too easy just motivates people to get lazy and to not care about if they are performing at their best. Wiping on encounters is a part of learning and there is always something that can be done better the next try. The incredible feeling you then get after finally beating a really hard encounter makes all the effort worthwhile.
• Why would you like to play with us? What we got that others don't?:
I have come to the conclusion that raiding on the highest level is what I want to do again. The normal and heroic raids that I have done with Maligned since coming back has motivated me to seek even greater challenges and your guild fits the bill. Your raiding times are perfect for a parent like me since at the time the raid starts both my wife and daughter have gone to bed. You have made really good progress with the limited amount of time you have to raid and seem focused and calm in the videos I've watched of your progress.
• Do you play outside raids or log only for them?:
Yes, I log on daily to take care of follower missions, go to premade raid groups, LFR and anywhere else to practice on my dps and trying to improve even more. I constantly strive to get to be the best at what I do. Getting mythic ready is something I've been working on for a while now. I don't like to PVP so that gear progression has not interested me.
• Anything to add?:
I would really like to prove my worth to you and show you that I can perform up to your standards. I have been preparing myself to get as ready as I can be for progression raiding and am prepared to work on it even more if required. Thank you for your time.
P.S.
Tell Grodian I said hi. =)

• Tell us a joke:
Most people believe that if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
Engineers believe that if it ain't broke, it doesn't have enough features yet.

Grodian: Nice to see you too! =) Have you been playing non-stop since I left or have you also had a break or two?

Update to application: I've gotten two upgrades to my gear since I first made the application.

Hi,

For the time being I'm unable to give you a full time spot into our raiding team. We tried to find best solution to it and couldn't go for anything that would suit you in it. If you will like to take your time, we might be able to get you in for later stages.

Cheers,
Y.
