  • What spec you'r playing and what you can tell us about it (inc. talents, glyphs, most important usage of your abilities)?:
Spec depending: Currently I use MM most of the time especially for single target boss fights such as Kargath, for obvious reasons. Typically, I find myself using MM for most of the bosses in Highmaul, as most of them are more or less single target, except for Tectus & Imperator. While Survival isn't 100% AoE based I find it's the better spec to use on the add fights as the AoE damage coupled with the adds ensures i'm pumping out maximum damage when and where I need to.

15: I'm always inclined to choose Crouching Tiger, Hidden Chimaera for both specs as I feel having Disengage on a reduced cool down caters for what the class is all about, utility. The reduced cool down of Deterrence is obviously a bonus, too.
30: As the other talents don't appeal to me much I chose Binding Shot, helps in any add encounters.
45: I chose Iron Hawk as I feel the reduction of 10% of all damage is the best option for raids.
60: Thrill of the Hunt is a great talent for both Survival and MM, with a chance to reduce the focus cost of your next 3 Arcane, Aimed or Multi-shots by 20.
75: A Murder of Crows is my option here as being on a 1 minute cool down works well with my other cool downs, and really does do good damage.
90: While Glaive Toss might be the better option for single target encounters I find myself using Barrage, as it is by far the best talent to use, i've found.
100: I use Lone Wolf more or less most of the time as the 30% damage increase is an interesting concept, not having to deal with a pet in fights. The several beneficial buffs I can provide help when necessary, too. I some times would change to Focusing Shot if I was on a boss such as Butcher, as i'm staying stationary for 90%~ of the fight.

    Glyphs:

Glyph of Deterrence as it increases the damage reduction granted by a further 20%.
Glyph of Disengage to travel further distances.
Glyph of Animal Bond to increase all healing to me, and my pet if i'm not using Lone Wolf by 10%.

Most of the talents and glyphs I've chosen are pretty mandatory when it comes to raiding.

  • What stats are you prioritize?:
Surv - Agility; Multistrike; Versatility; Critical Strike; Mastery; Haste.

MM - Agility; Multistrike; Critical Strike (until 43%); Haste; Versatility; Mastery; Critical Strike. The 43% Critical Strike soft cap ensures that all of your Aimed Shots will be crits during Careful Aim.

  • Where do you acquire information and knowledge about your class?:
I tend to visit Icy Veins more than any other site as it goes much deeper into your class and it's always up to date. I sometimes find myself visiting Azortharion's Hunter guide on MMO-C should I need any other information.

  • Share your guild history as well as reason for leaving them and your current guild ?:
My first raiding guild was on Dunemaul, HoB. This was just before the release of Ulduar. I stayed with these guys until around 3 months after the release of Cataclysm when they disbanded unfortunately. Me and a few friends then transferred to Ragnaros and ended up making our own guild around the release of Firelands. Unfortunately due to work commitments I wasn't able to lead as well as I'd have liked. Rynamite and I then decided to merge guilds with Rambo and al though I wasn't able to raid much with them we managed very steady progress, eventually forming a really solid team. Unsure as to why they disbanded as I quit around half way through the MoP expansion. Came back just before it ended and ended up following them to Arathor.
  • Describe your past/current raid experience:
    WoTLK:

    Ulduar normal cleared.
Ulduar hard mode up to Mimiron.
    ToTC 4/5 heroic.
    ICC 10/12 heroic.
RS 10/25 heroic on release day.

    Cataclysm:

    BwD 5/6 heroic.
    BoT 2/5.
Inactive until Firelands and managed 2/7 heroic.
Came back toward to end of DS and did 8/8 heroic within a few weeks.

With regards to MoP we cleared MV on day 2, and got 2 heroic the next week. I quit due to work commitments from there on and was more or less social up until now.

More Information..

  • Raid times: Can you agree with our raid times 21:00 to 00:00 Server time (UTC+1 also Sunday for extra raids)?:
    wednesday, thursday, sunday, monday
  • Teamspeak: Can you use, SPEAK and LISTEN to Teamspeak?:
    Yes
  • You and us: Would you be willing to modify or change your spec to assist the guild?:
    Yes
  • What our guild can benefit from your class and yourself as a player?:
I'm willing to play any role in a raid group at any time, always looking to improve as no one is perfect, my main priority is killing bosses and anything that follows is just a bonus really. I believe raiding is 5% skill, 5% luck and 90% communication. I pre-read and watch any boss fights to improve my knowledge of the up and coming encounters.
  • What is your attitude towards progress/what motivate you in WoW?:
I always attend raids with a good attitude. Ready to progress and ready to win. I've always said i'd rather wipe on a boss 500 times and gain 0.1% progress each time than not any progress at all. Lich King heroic i'm looking at you..
  • Why would you like to play with us? What we got that others don't?:
Mostly because a lot of my friends are in this guild. Other than that you have steady progress and well-rounded players i've noticed when I go to the odd social raid.
  • Do you play outside raids or log only for them?:
I mess around in the Auction House a lot for business reasons. Anything that can benefit my character outside of raids is worth my time and I will do.
  • Anything to add?:
As previously stated in the past I will miss 3 raids/month. the first Sunday of each month and the last Wed/Thurs. While I know this isn't a perfect situation and certain people have certain roles in progression I don't think this will impact the raid as a whole. If this is a problem consider me as a back up player. I can prove however to be a valuable part of the raid group.
  • Tell us a joke:

Hi,

We will give you an answer tomorrow, I'm really sorry that this takes so long, but we are having some irl issues that extend the time to make a clear decision.
