General:

Your Name, Age, Gender and Location:

Ludvig, 28, male, Sweden

Tell us a little bit about yourself (non-WoW related Interests, Hobbies etc)

I do a lot of trail-running in the forests around my home together with my girlfriend and our dog. This is really good excercise and very soothing and fun. We also like to go on longer hikes. Most things that are outside and gives our dog an outlet for his energy are activities we consider doing.
I love boardgames. Both collecting and playing. It started a few years ago when I bought Catan and Carcassonne on a whim and have since expanded my collection to about 40 games. Not as extreme as some are in the boardgame hobby but to me it's a good collection.

What strengths do you feel your class currently brings to the raid?

Mistweavers bring the most raw throughput of all the healers right now while also doing very strong damage. We can talent into either full aoe throughput with refreshing jade wind or open ourselves up to more spothealing and priority healing by going Chi-ji.

Our current covenant of choice, Venthyr, bring even more healing with the covenant legendary bringing the 3minute ability down to about a 1minute cd. While active it heals random injured allies and keeps them very safe, the only draw-back being I can't control them myself but the healing is strong enough that it doesn't matter too much.

How comfortable are you playing your offspecs?

I am okay at windwalker
I am not good at all at tanking.

Raiding History:
Describe your previous/current raiding experience:

I have raided mythic since the launch of Legion. I've gotten every CE along the way except Argus, which I missed because of IRL commitments during that time, and Uunat that my guild at the time collectively decided to skip to give ourselves a progress break going into eternal palace.

In shadowlands I have had a bit of bad luck with guilds disbanding. In Castle Nathria I had 2 guilds disband. First Fang-Kazzak which I had been in for more than a year disbanded on SLG.
After that I managed to join Friendly Banter-Twisting Nether and got my Cutting edge with them on their second or third kill of Denathrius. But only a few weeks after me joining they also disbanded. I have no idea why they disbanded, but my guess is drama that I as a new member hadn't caught up to.
By this time I was tired of applying to guilds, but a friend got me into Merry Graverobbers-Stormreaver where I have progressed all of Sanctum of Domintaion now.

More Information:

Can you meet our raid schedule of Wed/Thur/Mon 21:00 to 00:00 server time with at least 90% attendance?

Yes, definitely.

What encouraged you to apply to Curse of Years?

You seem like a stable guild and your later raid times fit my schedule better than the common 20-23 times. I also saw Reholy in your roster, whom I played with in Fang-Kazzak

Do you play much outside of raiding?

When there is stuff to do I play a bunch outside of raiding. I put as much time as I can into increasing my character power and often push m+, preferably with friends but I also pug a lot. Atm with player power pretty much capped and I reached my m+ goal for the season of all 20s in time I am mostly raid-logging. But as 9.2 comes closer this will surely pick back up again.

Is there anything else you'd like to add to your application?

Hope to hear from you :)
