Currently taking a well earned break after retiring from military service. I volunteered for Mountain rescue for four years (retired due to moving way for work) so I enjoy all aspects of mountaineering, though unable to do any atm due to injury.

Describe your choice of talents and why you've chosen them:
15: Final Verdict is the clear winner, even without the Legendary Cloak.
30: Fires of Justice is great for more Holy Power build and more throughput. Zeal can be used on 3 target AoE but usage of other abilities drops due to lower HP and lower Leg. Cloak uptime. Only if the fight has extremely high uptime on 3+ targets(they have to be close to each other as well) is it worth taking this talent.
45: Utility talents. Situationally dependant. Usually just leave on Fist of Justice during raids unless a specific fight requires the other abilities.
60: Blade of Wrath for ST and Divine Hammer for 3+ Targets with high uptime.
75: Situational talents again. Eye for an Eye in raids just because it reduces potential physical AoE damage.
90: Divine Intervention for shorter bubble cd and cheat death. Cavalier if it’s a movement heavy fight.
100: Crusade. Divine Purpose is available as second talent if we have the highlord ring but its pretty bad on its own in PvE.
How do you prioritize your stats and why?
Haste > Crit=Vers > Mastery
Its up for debate about how much haste we need but Haste is the clear winner until it reaches higher values (again up for debate as to what value exactly) due to higher Judgement debuff uptime and more holy power generation. Crit and Vers are very good stats for us as well and surpass haste at higher values. Mastery is just garbage and hasn’t been relevant at all this expansion. Only relevant if the other stats of an item upgrade offset the mastery of the item.
What state is your Artifact in?
Ilvl 928, 55 traits. 3x BiS Trait relics. Only upgrades are from Mythic ToS or lucky titan forges in Hc. Currently putting AP tokens into my Prot artifact.
Where do you acquire knowledge about your Class?
Class Discord and SimCraft. There has been a huge repository of information posted on the discord and simcraft is useful for optimizing gems/enchants as values and abilities change.

Not had a guild since I took a break from the game (back in May) so these are all I have.
Raiding History:
Describe your previous/current raiding experience:
TBC (holy/ret pala): SSC/TK/MH/BT all cleared pre-nerfs.
WotLK(Ret pala): Naxx25, Sarth3D, Ulduar25 + all hard modes except 0 lights, ICC25 cleared.
Cata (rogue): 6/7H FL, 8/8 HC DS.
MoP: Casual player with some mythic progression in SoO.
WoD: Casual player with some mythic progression in HM and HFC.
Legion(Ret pala): 7/7M EN, 2/3M ToV, 9/10M NH (I have Cutting Edge but missing star augur kills due to missing some raids and extended lockouts)
Tell us about your previous guilds and your reasons for leaving them:
XIS – Kilrogg: Didn’t enjoy their raiding atmosphere (angry RL/condescending officers)
NoM – Twisting Nether: Took a break to move house and no raid spot after I came back. Tried to get back in but the raid team was too big so I decided to take some more time off before finding a new guild.

What qualities do you bring to a Raid?
I’m usually pretty quiet on TS but I was always the mechanics guy (interrupting, soaking, add control) in raids as I did the jobs well. I'm always looking to play my best and I usually use log comparisons to see where I can perform better, especially on progression bosses.
How comfortable are you playing your offspecs?
I can play Protection ok but I have not touched Holy since early in the expansion.
How do you feel about progression raiding?
Its always been one of the main draws of the game for me. The last two expansions I’ve not had time due to work and other commitments but I’m back in now and I want to continue pushing.
Where did you hear about Curse of Years and do you know anyone in the guild?
One of your officers (Nagassh) sent me a message on WoWProgress after I updated my status.
What encouraged you to apply to Curse of Years?
Your raiding times are perfect, you have a good progression rate and a ret pala is pretty good to have in some parts of this tier.
Do you play outside of raid?
I like to do M+ and casual PvP. I will do WQ and a few other things as well.
