Battletag: Deh#2981

Describe your choice of talents and why you've chosen them:
My choice of talents is dependant on the encounter:
For a first talent I will almost always take Final Verdict, it's objectively higher DPS without any consequence.
For a second this varies more frequently, I take TFOJ in single target fights unless my haste is low enough for Zeal to be useful in a single target situation - if the encounter is consistantly multi-target then Zeal is a good choice for passive cleave, on rare occasion TFOJ might prove to be a more effective choice and I try to find out if that is the case pre-pull or soon into the first few pulls if necessary. Greater judgement is often only used to cheese fights but there is the rare occasion where not enough AoE is present and greater judgement might be a good idea - Helya for example.
Third tier talents are not really relevant - blinding light is my go to just incase I have downtime in AoE fights but for the most part this isn't used. There are not a lot of times that FoJ can be used because stunning things isn't very likely to happen in most encounters but it's always kept in mind. I've never found a use for repentance in raids but it's proved useful in M+ before.
The fourth tier falls down to BoW or Divine Hammer, depending on if it's a single target or multi-target encounter. VB vs BoW comes down to sims however for the most part VB is dead due to scaling.
Fifth tier really doesn't need much debate - two of the abilities cost Holy Power and do not increase DPS and one does - Eye for an Eye. I take this is every situation, unless there is a point in time wherein I'm not able to be healed, my bubble and LoH are on CD and my SoV isn't enough. This is unlikely.
Tier six is about DI or Cavalier, DI provides a failsafe if I fuck up but can also be used strategically to soak something or negate incoming damage in intense sitations. Cavalier is good for mobility, I go with this by default unless I don't know the fight because of how powerful mobility is. Judgement of Light is a joke.
The final tier is without question Crusade, the damage boost it provides is uncontested unless the correct legendaries are in play, and even then it's often better. I'd only consider changing Crusade if I obtain one of these legendaries or if the tier is modified in anyway (sets or straight up modifications).

How do you prioritize your stats and why?
Haste > Vers=Crit > Mast, haste falls in value rapidly after around 18-20% because you start having issues with downtime, even with TFOJ. Vers and crit essentially need to balance out as much as possible to be optimal and Mastery is horrible and should only be used if the strength increase is large enough to compensate for how much it sucks ass.

What state is your Artifact in?

Took a 6 month break, upon return I have been grinding AP with most of my spare time - currently 50 and aim to be 52 on wednesday.

Where do you acquire knowledge about your Class?
Sims, Icyveins, paladin discord, my high ranking paladin friends, myself and my most used method is warcraftlogs, because the answer to all unseen mechanical issues can be found in a log.

Raiding History:

Describe your previous/current raiding experience:

Raided SoO HC with Pink Floyd and then Tempest, started late ended 9/14HC Stayed with Tempest in Highmaul until two weeks in raiding Mythic when I then began to notice that I want to pass my exams and left until HFC in which I don't remember much because I didn't enjoy the content outside of raiding enough to stay for long. Come Legion I joined Karazhan Chess Society and then through a series of events ended up at Eat my Crit, where I took a break from WoW for 6 months, leaving me here. This final break was because I didn't balance out my play time correctly and burnt out.

Tell us about your previous guilds and your reasons for leaving them:
Pink Floyd: Had no interest in raiding Heroic.
Tempest: Exams
Kara Chess Society: Didn't have the leadership to push into Heroic (In my opinion)
Eat my Crit: Burn out followed by guild split

More Information:

Can you meet our raid schedule of Wed/Thur/Mon 21:00 to 00:00 server time with at least 90% attendance?
Yes.
We are raiding Sundays at start of each Tier for 3-4 weeks. Are you aware of it?
Yes
Are you able to Listen and Speak on Teamspeak?
Yes
What qualities do you bring to a Raid?
Alongside dedication and utilization of class as efficiently as possible I'm easily able to maintain a positive and focused attitude towards both my team and the encounter.
How do you feel about progression raiding?
The extreme majority of my enjoyment for this game comes from bashing my head against an encounter until I am victorius. Progression raiding is why I play WoW.
Where did you hear about Curse of Years and do you know anyone in the guild?
My friend found you on wowprogress.
What encouraged you to apply to Curse of Years?
My Friend.
Do you play outside of raid?
Only if I'm improving my character.
Is there anything else you'd like to add to your application?
There's no avoiding the fact I am undergeared, even though this is the case I believe with a small investment in me I would be an incredible use to your team.
Tell us a joke:
I have come to respect and value the daze mechanic as an integral part of this games heart and soul.

Thanks for the interest, but we're going to decline I'm afraid.

Good luck finding a place elsewhere.
