I have studied IT to Hons Degree level but currently work for the Home Office in Liverpool at the passport office, I have played tank/healer from vanilla not always by choice since started out as paladin in vanilla i had no choice but start of each exp I have re-rolled to dps and been forced into healing again due to poor recruitment.

Your choice of talents and glyphs:
Ok so talents first 3 tiers there is no real choice of difference for ele.
T4 Is a choice between using Ancestral swiftness and elemental mastery depending if its a more stable dps or a burst CD required.
T5 Ancestral guidance only useful tallent as ele
T6 - All very balanced so just depending what your doing movement primal comes out slightly higher and AoE elemental blast can come out slightly higher but since they are all so close it makes no real difference now.

Glyph -
Cap totem - Mainly just for garrosh.
Lightning Shield - Always useful since it procks off alot of AoE or cleaves.
Chain Lighting - Add / Remove depending on on how adds to cleave.

Yes I can play any class or Role since I used to have to keep up with them all as a Mod on Elitistjerks and these days I still do by force of habit so I have raided on all the classes in all spec on the beta so would be willing to roll anything in WoD just applying on shaman since its the geared char.

Your previous guilds (and why you left):
From Febuary I was in a guild called Aetherium on The Maelstrom which I was starting as a new formed guild of old friends and I raided there untill May at which point the guild dispanded when I turned out 8 of the 10man team were only raiding since they did not want to let the others down so when that got out it ended up as just me and the resto druid left. After that I did not really feel like raiding myself so I moved to Argent Dawn and have been in a few social guilds doing Garrosh normal pugs in Openraid for the looms each week.

Roughly in Novemeber I quit raiding for a while because of work problems meaning I was getting shifts only finishing at 9pm and could not make any guidls raid times so i left Teh Squirrel Mafia and moved my shammy back to Capuchin to be with the rest of my alts.
adult swim - Was in adult swim for a few years until just before TOT was release when i moved from auchidorn to TSM since I wanted to find a slightly more relax guild since adult swim was raiding 4-5 nights a week 4 hours a night.

Mythical Honour - Came back to MH with the reform at start of cata started as a warlock but I have been allowed to raid on my pally this week because we lost a tank but I'm still doing as much raiding on my lock as i am on my pally because of the single tank fights. which wasn't my thing because I was missing out on half the raid so I might aswell have been doing casual raiding. Then I had some tech problems for a few weeks after my PSU fecked up and took the motherboard with it so took a few weeks of seeing what had survived, during that time logged on telling alela wat was going on but attitude from most of guild was thinking i cba raiding and just blamed my computer, I couldn't stay in a guild where that was the thought about me every time was 5mins late for a raid in the future so decided to look for a new guild.

Velvet Glove - Moved to VG after the disband of MH in TBC untill its disband in ICC few months before cata.

Mythical Honour - Joined MH back when wow was first released and we were server No1 for Vanilla and most of TBC until some elitism from few ppl and it got very annoying untill half the guild just quit and at that point most of other ppl moved off the server.

Your previous raid experience:
Played paladin / lock depending if 1/2 tank/healer fight depending what I was forced into at the time.

How our guild can benefit from you?
Well as said before I an willing to play and class and spec which would be more required over my shaman and I will also be looking for groups to do challenge modes with not just for the transmog weapons but also for the extra LFR ilvl gear which will be availible before the raids themselves are released to try make sure my char is at max possible ilvl for when normal / hc raids are released.

Would you be willing to modify or change your spec to assist the guild?
Yes always have done before with guilds.

What is your attitude towards progress/what motivate you in WoW?
What always motivated me in WoW for raiding has been the idea of progression being ahead of the curve as it was and also just the fun and atmosphere to be had in raiding which is why when my guild dispanded in may and i moved to argent dawn to be on a high pop server I just did not feeling raiding for awhile

Do you play outside raids or log only for them?
I have done Challenge modes on all classes, I have done proving grounds on quiet a few classes and managed to push to Rank 2 resto shaman before I gave up on them. I will admit I do not really pvp much anymore but I do spend alot of time doing things such as mount farming and transmog farming.

Why you want to join us?
With my shift I was looking for a guild which raids ... well when I am at home since a lot of guilds raid to early for me currently so when I saw the recruitment posts on mmo-chamo I thought well I would tank as a DK or pally or even dps on my shammy like I started this exp doing untill like every exp and from even WoD beta its very bottom of the dps meters.

We spoke briefly (you might not remember maybe, was looking for a healer) when I was looking for a healer. I guess you removed me from battletag later on while I was waiting for an answer, although fair enough - no grudges there.

Your application looks nice and I would really like to consider it, but I would like to have an answer to one question - isn't your hunter playing similar days / hours in Frequency?

I had similar things before and it ended up badly with people not being able to keep up with two chars. Believe me tho, I would like you in so let me know about above please. Hopefully you don't play for them any more ;)

I was accepted to Frequency but it while in the guild talking to one or two of the officers it seems more a bench spot since they already have an over subbed mythic team currently which means I have lost interest in them really.

Ok so played the longest is Either Pally or Lock since my lock was my very first wow Char and my first 60 which I some MC on untill my pally hit 60 when I moved to playing paladin, I played both from Vanilla raiding with both with my pally.
Vanilla - Holy
TBC - Prot
Wrath - Prot until ICC
Cata - I played Holy and Prot in equal measure
While my lock mainly did alt raids from vanilla until cata at which point It turned into we only need 1 tank or 2 healers depending what roll I was filling at which point I would go to my lock so the cata progression got spread over both.
MoP - My pallys only been Prot and my locks only done LFRs since I was playing Resto sham after I ended up rerolling from ele to resto in Heart of fear progression.

As for Elemental is that your final gemming/enchants for 6.0 and WoD?

Not my Final No since looking over it I missed 1 gem 1 enchant being the haste on gloves and the crit in boots from my resto set which need changing to mastery but apart from that yes.

What stat priorities you use?

ok stats for ele shammy are roughly the same as they used to be with a few changes so that its now Multistrike > mastery with no cap > crit > haste > vers the main difference is the fact that at 6.0 levels there is no cap on mastery which used to stop at 100% but now with the fact it just increases moltern earth mastery and earthquake damage my shaman runs with 193% on live and its still best stat since no multistrike around with crit and haste being so close it depends on fight dependent sim-crafting to pick one out as being better then the other.

What you think about int/mastery vs haste/mastery in red sockets? Also if we stick with Ele, will you be postive on playing it to fullest of your abilities?

Also will let you know with final decision tomorrow or late tonight as with wod in 2 weeks people slack a bit. For now I certainly say it looks very promising.

Well for 6.0 int/mastery vs haste/mastery will be different to scaling at 100 prob since the base multistrike for 6.0 is 20% meaning that haste is devalued compaired to at lvl100 where the increase in multistike will give haste a slight edge over int due to the extra multistrike chances over the duration of a boss fight.
During 6.0 with the gear levels and scaling means I am running with nearly 200% mastery on boss fights mastery is doing roughly 35-40% of my total damage and also not only increased damage from mastery but also from int to the int/mastery gems pull slightly over mastery/haste in 6.0 for myself.

As for playing ele its prob my fav spec in wow now since the ability pruning just ignored it and allowed for ele to have so many utility totems while still being a range dps keeping all the fun stuff like lava surge, and yes I understand being elemental usually means being at the bottom of the dps meters in raids as per every pref expansion but its fun and has utility with some cool AoE and CDs for massive burst.
