Curse of Years Application form.
Remember your application is the first impression we have on you.

General:
Your Name, Age, Gender and Location:
Magnus, 23, Denmark

Tell us a little bit about yourself (non-WoW related Interests, Hobbies etc)
I study history at uni on 3. semester. I spent a good amount of time in the gym when I’m not studying or playing wow.

Battletag: Kipo#21629

What strengths does your class currently bring to the raid (eg; Arms warrior bringing 2 target cleave and execute or Nightfae hunters bringing AOE burst):
The question is mainly what doesn’t a shaman bring to the raid. I got link-totem which is one of the major healing CDs if timed correctly can prevent deaths due to the health spreading. Healing tide totem combined with heavy rainfall (conduit) and cloudburst comes with a lot of passive burst healing if you give it a few seconds to ramp up.

Talents level
15: I usually use Torrent as a talent to line it up better with my legendary (Primal tide core) to receive the most amount of free healing without using any mana. Even though Unleash Life could be useful, I got too much down on healing because Unleash life will make chain heal useful.
35: I'm a huge fan of Earthen Wall Totem because it applies a 50k ish shield overall Anc-totem can be useful to have doing a fight like Painsmith for surviving the intermission (progress wise)
40: Of course Wind Rush Totem, it’s better than roar in some situations like pre-casting a movement speed buff. Due the totem staying in place for 15 sec and you are able to reapply the speed buff, instead of roars once time 8 sec speed increase.

How comfortable are you playing your offspecs?
Comfortable with off-spec on shaman, not really I can play in dungeons, but it’s not something I wouldn’t find comfortable playing in raid without some good practice, but I got a hunter that I’m gearing up as off-spec/off-class.

Raiding History:
Describe your previous/current raiding experience:
Started raiding mythic in back in legion Nighthold, but only for a few bosses
I started focusing on mythic raiding in Antorus, but then OMFG Kittens lost almost 90% of the people, so I changed to a guild called final judgement which I managed to get CE with in Uldir. Unfortunately they moved to another server and I didn’t move with them which meant I moved back to OMFG Kittens.
Ny’alotha 10/12 mythic
CN 9/10 mythic
I have played healer since late Cata:
From Cata to start Legion - Priest
From Legion The Nighthold to ToS - Shaman
From Legion Antorus to SL CN - Monk
From SL CN to SD - Shaman (My plan is to stay shaman)

More Information:

Can you meet our raid schedule of Wed/Thur/Mon 21:00 to 00:00 server time with at least 90% attendance?
Yes, 100%

What encouraged you to apply to Curse of Years?
To get more stability and higher raiding content

Do you play much outside of raiding?
I do m+ just waiting for 9.1.5 to push higher keys like 23-24 as kyrian and able to stay necro for the raid
I'm trying to improve my logs as well even though it's just HC logs to see how much I can push my class.
In the written movement I'm rank 1 resto shaman on the server for m+
Back in season one of SL I was the highest overall HC parser of all healers on the server

Is there anything else you'd like to add to your application?
