Tell us a little bit about yourself (non-WoW related Interests, Hobbies etc)
I'm a Civil Engineering Masters student so I'm a huge nerd and I don't know how to talk to girls.
I mostly spend my time trying to get buff and playing video games in dark rooms.

Describe your choice of talents and why you've chosen them:
Cookie-cutter build based on high crit which is like the only way to play BM at the moment.
How do you prioritize your stats and why?
Crit > Versatility >= Haste > Mastery
Number 1 aim of BM play is to keep 3 stacks of Frenzy up. This is done through Barbed Shot which has 2 charges and 10 sec recharge. Frenzy lasts for 8 seconds. Wild Call spell grants charge procs for Barbed Shot in order to keep Frenzy rolling for longer. Higher Crit = more procs = higher uptime = fat dps.
Versatility is just flat damage increase.
Haste is haste. Mastery is pet damage but scales worse than Vers and is only considered valuable in cleave.
I ALWAYS sim anyway so this is a guideline at best. Crit is still BiS.
Where do you acquire knowledge about your Class?
Icy Veins, Trueshot Lodge and WarcraftLogs.

Raiding History:
Describe your previous/current raiding experience:
As Hunter:
Currently 4/8M EP with 30 pulls on Za'qul (can provide logs) - I feel this is very unrepresentative of my capabilities/knowledge due to needing to guild hop so much this tier, so naturally been sat on prog/farm bosses where I didn't need gear.
9/9M BoD
7/8M Uldir
As other classes, several AoTC achievements on a casual level, with some CE experience back in MoP as BDk.
Tell us about your previous guilds and your reasons for leaving them:
Vex Thal, Status (both Stormscale), Amused to Death (Defias Brotherhood) and Feint (Tarren Mill) Have ALL been disbands this Summer period.
Hyped (Tarren Mill) failed trial because I would be missing Mythic week 1 due to a holiday (communicated this during the interview).
Rotated Out (Tarren Mill) former GM/RL of this guild, disbanded due to dis-interested raiders (somewhat typical end-boss prog mindset) and troubles recruiting/managing turnover.
These are things that have happened between now and the end of May this year, by the way.
More Information:
Can you meet our raid schedule of Wed/Thur/Mon 21:00 to 00:00 server time with at least 90% attendance?
Yes.
We also raid on Sunday at the start of a new raiding tier. Are you aware of this?
Yes.
Are you able to Listen and Speak on Teamspeak?
Yes.
What qualities do you bring to a Raid?
I understand what it means to be a team player and an effective raider. Keeping up to date with all class information in order to stay competitive, keeping my weekly/daily tasks (mainly HoA-related content) completed as and when, catching up any missed days where necessary. At the start of any tier, there will be goals I set myself in order to be prepared for new content through gear, HoA, any pre-raid requisites etc. or any that may be set by RLs/Officers will be met.
I consider my communication skills to be of a high standard having been in a raid leading capacity previously, I do so well with other people whether it involves strat discussion or pull-by-pull calls.
If taken on, I will make sure I am wholly prepared for each fight in the current tier, knowing where my class can shine and how I can best use it to overcome the encounter. Hunters have exceptional flexibility and I would be happy to take on extra tasks during raids if required at all.
Understanding where I go wrong is a big part of improving as a player, and as such I can recognise mistakes and compare logs to other players to see how plays differ from those who have killed the bosses already, providing we're carrying out the same role in the encounter. Player PoVs are also a great tool to improve and plan how you play bosses.
How comfortable are you playing your offspecs?
Totally fine at MM.
How do you feel about progression raiding?
It's the reason I'm still playing this game. There's an element of satisfaction after working towards killing some dude for so long and finally getting it down. I've had a taste of Mythic progression play and I can't go back to being casual. I strive to become the best.
Where did you hear about Curse of Years and do you know anyone in the guild?
WoWprogress.
What encouraged you to apply to Curse of Years?
I recieved a message on WoWprogress from Nagassh detailing the guild on 07/09 (I was AFK at the time, sorry for not responding immediately!), and I want to be somewhere that won't disband next fucking week yeah.
Do you play outside of raid?
Yes, while content is fresh. Other games if I enjoy them :)
Is there anything else you'd like to add to your application?
Very keen to get started ASAP if you decide to take me on, otherwise feel free to contact me and we can talk about the application - perhaps I can go into more detail on things.
Tell us a joke:
Brexit.
