Describe your choice of talents and why you've chosen them:
Blind Fury / Immolation Aura / Trail of Ruin / Netherwalk / First Blood / Master of the Glaive / Demonic. This is my general build for Havoc on fights such as Opulence "Trial of Ruin" would be swapped out for "Fel Barrage". Netherwalk is also very good during progression as it provides an immunity for 5 seconds. Soul Rendering is usually what I would play for M+ as the self healing is great.
How do you prioritize your stats and why?
Agility > Vers > Crit > Haste > Mastery.
Versatility is your best stat by a relatively big margin as it straight up increases your damage on all your damaging abilities and has no real cap/limit. Crit works the same way as it also has no real cap/limit to it. Mastery is your least sought after stat as it doesn't provide an awful lot unless you're a DH twink ;). Lastly for Haste I personally try to keep around 14-15% which seems like the perfect amount.
Where do you acquire knowledge about your Class?
1.Class Discord
2. WoWhead for upcoming changes etc.
3. Talking to other players who play the same role & watching Twitch streamers or Youtube videos.

Raiding History:
I started playing WoW when BFA released on the NA servers so my first raid tier was Uldir, I managed to to get to 3/8M (Taloc, Mother, Vectis) just pugging every week until eventually I joined a Mythic guild and cleared to 5/8M (Taloc, Mother, Zek'Voz, Vectis, Fetid.)
As for BoD I had decided to switch to Europe as the ping was so much better and everything felt smoother whilst clearing Uldir in the final weeks I found a guild on Draenor and managed to clear 3 bosses on Mythic
.
Describe your previous/current raiding experience:
When I started playing BFA on NA I was in a Heroic only guild on Kil'Jaeden called "Apocolypse Pony" . As I started to learn how to play my class I felt I could achieve more than what my heroic only guild was doing in terms of progression and I found my self getting AOTC before the guild did. From there I had a talk with my raid leader and he noticed that this guild wasn't for me as I wanted to push higher content and get better at the game which he knew I would not find here. Endlessly trying to get into pugs for Mythic I managed to kill 3 bosses until I got asked to transfer to Bleeding Hollow where I joined a Mythic guild called "DONT FALL" as a Havoc DH. However this was in the final 2 weeks of the raid tier and they were trying to rebuild a roster having lost so many players. I managed to kill 2 more additional bosses with them putting me at 5/8M and that is when BOD released. During the first few weeks of BoD we managed to clear 8 bosses on Heroic and also killing the first boss on Mythic until I decided I wanted to make the switch to Europe and left with 8/9HC.
My raiding experience on Europe is when I joined guild called "Carpe Noctis" on Draenor and cleared roughly 5 bosses on Heroic as the tier had only been out a few weeks until things went sour. From there I mainly pugged on Europe achieving AOTC and clearing the first boss with PUGS. After weeks and weeks of just really doing Mythic Plus I wanted to try again with another guild and see if I could get somewhere so I joined "Contemplation" on Draenor. During my first raid week with them we managed to kill 3 Mythic bosses until I decided to leave.
Tell us about your previous guilds and your reasons for leaving them:
My first NA guild Apocalypse Pony on Kil'Jaeden was a group of friendly of players but extremely casual. My reasons for leaving was that the players in the roster put no effort into levelling necks or even doing Mythic + to acquire better gear to help progression. We would raid 3 days a week and because it was NA it was scheduled to start at 2am and finish at 5am. However because everyone was so casual they would show up 30 - 60 mins late which made it very hard for me as I would have to stay up majority of the night just to raid. As time went on this made it very annoying for me as our RL would insist we relear the first 5 bosses just for people to get gear because they wouldn't put effort into M+. Until eventually there was only 4 weeks left of the tier and the RL decided it was time to stop this nonsense and actually get AOTC for the people who didn't already have it. Having spoke to my RL he understood my decision to leave as he knew it was what was best for me and that I had good chances of finding another guild which pushed for higher content. He also told me he would do the same but he didn't want to forsake his friends as he had known them for years were friends IRL.
Moving onto my second guild on NA called "DONT FALL" on Bleeding Hollow. My decision to leave was that it had been roughly 6 months playing on NA and because of the transfer my ping was exceedingly worse in the margin of 150-160. Everything felt super delayed and unplayable not to mention that Gold was impossible to get. Blizzard ruling says you're not allowed to purchase WoW tokens as my BNET is registered in the UK and that I am playing WoW on NA. So with that I spoke to my RL and decided it was best for me to leave and with the progression I had with them I took with me to EU.
My first guild on Europe was called "Carpe Noctis" on Draenor and frankly it was one of the worst experiences ever in a raid environment. My reasons for leaving was that although the guild claimed to be Mythic raiders and told me their number one priority was progression it turned out to be more of a friendship guild above all else. People were failing basic mechanics during Heroic progression, not knowing how to play their classes but nothing was ever said because they were "friends." Officers would not let anyone talk during fights and any time someone wanted to make a suggestion it had to be done through whispers and even then it was ignored. Because of my experience raiding on NA as everything comes a day earlier I already had the experience in the fights as I had already done them but trying to pass that knowledge to this guild was impossible. Adding to officers not allowing people to talk one of my Warlock friends in the guild during Heroic Conclave was waiting for a dispell during the fight, 12 seconds had elapsed and he calmly asked for a dispell in Discord and he got told to "STFU" and was discord muted. After one more week of this incident I decided this was enough and this guild was not going to progress anywhere because some people were getting treated better than others for screwing up mechanics and wiping the raid just for being friends.
My final guild on Europe was called "Contemplation" on Draenor. My reasons for leaving this guild was rather simple. The RL who recruited me after only 1 week raiding with him he decided to step down and move to a more casual player approach and this really broke the guild. People lost motivation to play and the guild I joined was essentially shattered, the loss of their RL was too much and no-one had any interest in progression people would just fail mechanics willingly and they would just laugh it off and talk about football (Nalgust can tell you about that one lol.)

Yes.
Are you able to Listen and Speak on Teamspeak?
Yes.
What qualities do you bring to a Raid?
I am a fast learner who is reliable and always on time for raid. I put time into looking at logs and researching fights to get a better understanding of what to do and how to play particular fights. I am eager to quickly learn off my mistakes and am fully open to taking criticism.

Vengeance DH - Not quite so comfortable.
How do you feel about progression raiding?
I love it, all I wish is to progress with a group of like minded individuals with the same attitude and goals as my self.
Where did you hear about Curse of Years and do you know anyone in the guild?
I heard of CoY originally from Nalgust as I met him from one his Uldir Mythic pugs. We got talking and started to play a little Mythic + together and from there I met Ryna. Those are the only two I know so far.
What encouraged you to apply to Curse of Years?
I feel joining a group of individuals who I can learn and take advice from will help me improve and become a better player than I currently am.
Do you play outside of raid?
Yes, I do a lot of Mythic + however PUGS aren't always the healthiest.
Is there anything else you'd like to add to your application?
Yes, thank you taking the time to read my application and I hope to hear from you soon.
