urse of Years Application form.
Remember your application is the first impression we have on you, be as in depth as possible on all areas of the application.

General:

Your Name, Age, Gender and Location: Peter McDonald, 49, UK Nottingham

Tell us a little bit about yourself (non-WoW related Interests, Hobbies etc) When not playing WoW, i am working in a busy franchised restaurant as a manager

Character Information:

Armory Link: https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-gb/chara ... or/Snooser

Battletag: Snooze#2264

Describe your choice of talents and why you've chosen them: I have played this character for around 10 years, my talents have been based on experience, reading forums, following other resto druids on twitch and asking other what specs they use and trying to find a good balance for my style of game play.

How do you prioritise your stats and why? After much research i have found Mastery to be my highest secondary stat, this increases the healing power of my Hots on targets. My main concerning Stat is always Intellect and this increases my healing amount

Where do you acquire knowledge about your Class? I spend a lot of time reading forums for advice, i use Icy Veins as a goto site for any changes than occur and i watch a lot of Twitch streams for resto druids

Paste a your UI via IN COMBAT unable to do atm

What state is the state of your Heart of Azeroth? lvl 30.74

Link to your raid logs using using LINK.:

Raiding History:

i have completed Uldir normal and heroic on this current expansion, i took a break from WOW during Panda due to RL issues

Describe your previous/current raiding experience:

I have been raiding since end of TBC, but not regularly. i do raid if needed but i prefer to play casually and do LFG heroic or join a friends raid if they need help

Tell us about your previous guilds and your reasons for leaving them:

I am currently in Vehemance, and i am looking for another guild as i am not feeling as though we are a team, they have a core group of raiders and they find it hard to allow anyone else into their little group. which i feel leaves many in the guild left out and feel abandoned

More Information:

Can you meet our raid schedule of Wed/Thur/Mon 21:00 to 00:00 server time with at least 90% attendance? As I said before, I didn't raid during this first season in BFA due to only playing casually, but i feel i am currently at a stand still and need some thing to get me motivated back into the game at a serious level

We also raid on Sunday at the start of a new raiding tier. Are you aware of this? I wasn't but i play most night so an extra night doesn't really matter

Are you able to Listen and Speak on Teamspeak? I have used TS3 before and am currently using Discord so any changes wont make any difference

What qualities do you bring to a Raid? I love playing this game, and i take time to learn fight, bosses, and tactics before i raid, I always come fully prepared and am willing to spend 4 hours each night wiping on a boss just so the best ways are found to perfect the tactics . going into a fight, slapping a boss and getting loot is boring, there is no challenge in that.

How comfortable are you playing your offspecs?

I am a firm believer that we all should do what it takes to help the guild, so playing OS is not a problem for me

How do you feel about progression raiding?
I used to enjoy this side of the before and enjoyed it, i still remember the felling you get when you first kill a boss after many weeks of trying. there is an addictive thrill to this that push you forward towards the next boss

Where did you hear about Curse of Years and do you know anyone in the guild?

I dont know anyone in the guild, i was looking at wowprogression and noticed your guild, i have often seen many of them around, but i dont think i have played with any of them

What encouraged you to apply to Curse of Years?

I like to think of a guild as one big family that helps and supports everyone for the benefit of the guild. i want to feel that again but i find it difficult to have the sort of guild i had before i stopped playing. If a guild can get on in /g more then they can function as a unit when it comes to raiding and that what makes a guild, not how many times u can clear a raid, or how much loot we can get. teamwork and a good relationship with EVERY member counts more

Do you play outside of raid?

I play every day to better my self and to learn more about my character. I am the sort of person that is always willing to help others with any aspect of the came, and i love to hear other opinions about how to play different classes, specs etc

Is there anything else you'd like to add to your application?

I honestly dont know if I will be accepted as a raiding member of the guild, but i am willing to play as a casual member and help in other ways. My bank slots are your bank slots @P

Tell us a joke:

Hmm i have a very dirty mind when it comes to jokes so I will keep this one clean :)

I just opened a Christmas card and a Yorkshire pudding fell out, Must of been from my Aunt Bessie

Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid

Sorry for the slow reply, but I'm afraid we'd be after someone with more proven experience going into the next tier and I don't want to string you along just to have you as a bench warmer.

Wish you all the best in finding a home though.
