Currently i'm an IT system administrator in a big construction company and after that i train 2 groups of kids karate and go to tournaments where we always hope to get lots of medals. other than that I spend a really unhealthy amount of time playing games. mostly WOW for the last 6-7 years

My main since i started playing this game has mostly always been my paladin on which i played 99% of the time ret and the other 1% tanked when it was needed. other than that i have also mained a death knight during Cataclysm and a rogue during Tomb of Sargeras.

Describe your choice of talents and why you've chosen them:
I think the choice of talents has a bit lost it's meaning after the whole talent revamp. It is a pretty much generic choice between AOE and single target although the paladin talents really make little difference at the moment.
How do you prioritize your stats and why?
The current prioritization (at least for paladins) is whatever has the highest ilvl is the best piece. although haste is slightly more favorable. It is pretty much the same for any other spec that i played for now except the small difference in stat weights,
Where do you acquire knowledge about your Class?
Pretty much everything i need to know i learn from the class discord servers. The community there is filled with experienced simcrafters and i don't think there's a better way to gain knowledge.

I try to keep my UI as simple as possible. For raids i mostly just use healbot, skada, whichever bossmods the guild uses and weakauras.

On my paladin it is currently 32, on my rogue 27.

Raiding History:
I started playing during the end of Cataclysm and managed to clear 10M HC dragon soul after a few nerfs. In MOP in the first tier i cleared Mogu'Shan Vaults and most of Heart of Fear and Terrace. Cleared all of Throne of Thunder and Siege of Orgrimmar most of the bosses in 25M HC and switched to 10M for the last bosses where I was in the main raid team. During WOD cleared Mythic Highmaul and most of Blackrook Foundry after which i took a year long brake. After that i have cleared Hellfire citadel except the last boss on Mythic difficulty.
Describe your previous/current raiding experience:
In Legion I have cleared all mythic content up until Kil'Jaeden after which i had to take another brake from the game and skipped the whole Antorus raid. Currently the guild I am in now is having trouble finding 20 players to fill the roster and we only killed the first 2 mythic bosses in Uldir.
Tell us about your previous guilds and your reasons for leaving them: Most notable guilds that I was a part of would be Intuition, Enlightened and Squad Zero. Intuition has unfortunately fallen apart after my first break and i had t leave the server at the time to join Enlightened. I believe most of you know enlightened's sad story of a kiwi god that couldn't handle constructive criticism so sadly it fell apart and most of us were forced to look for a new guild :)
After that fiasco i have joined Squad Zero which also broke apart after my comeback after the break.
More Information:
Can you meet our raid schedule of Wed/Thur/Mon 21:00 to 00:00 server time with at least 90% attendance? Curse of years is one of the very few guilds that have an acceptable raid time, so yes.
We also raid on Sunday at the start of a new raiding tier. Are you aware of this?

What qualities do you bring to a Raid?
I'm very passionate about organized group content and i take it quite seriously as i know there are 19+ more people counting on my performance. I very much understand the importance of tactics over dps, I am a team player and i try to help my guildmates in every way.
How comfortable are you playing your offspecs?
I am a comfortable to play any spec the raid needs me to play.
How do you feel about progression raiding?
It's why I play this game. Other than end game progression there is nothing else in WoW for me. Everything else is just a tool to help with progression.
Where did you hear about Curse of Years and do you know anyone in the guild?
All of my main guildmates from Enlightened are in Curse of Years and ofc i remember the guild from my progression with Squad Zero.
What encouraged you to apply to Curse of Years?
Because i want to play with all the people i know :)
Do you play outside of raid?
I do, as i said, mostly just to get ready for raids.
Is there anything else you'd like to add to your application?
From what i have heard the guild is currently in need of a DH or rogue for the next tier and i can offer to play any of those 2 since ret paladins are currently in a bad state. My rogue is 120, under geared since i raided only with my paladin since the beginning of BFA, if i came as a DH i would have to level it first to get it ready but that would n't take too much. I hope that would be satisfactory.
