Battletag: Mincepie#2357

Describe your choice of talents and why you've chosen them:

1, Cenarion ward- very strong hot always try and get this on the tank and keep up on cool down, my go to talent as its so strong. I use this over prosperity (which i would only use with talent ring). I hear abundance is a good choice for coven mythic which need quick burst healing but not been there so would only use abundance in Mythic +

2, Displacer beast (Druid Blink) why wouldn't you take this?

3, I go Guardian affinity next for extra health, if you are a cat weaver DPS druid you should be going Feral affinity. I only tried this a few times but was worried it affected my healing so packed that in :-)

4, I use mass entanglement opposed to typhoon for CC

5, Normally always Cultivation for the great healing it does when people drop low. However if to many healers or easier content go tree of life for better throughput. Soul of the forest i would only use if i use prosperity and the talent ring ( which i did a bit last tier)

6, Germination for fights with nasty debuffs that need lots of healing, Spring blossom shines on grouped up fights which we have more of in Antrous so that fight dependant. I would spec 2 min Trans Inner peace if raid leader requires but must be used as otherwise a waste.

7, Flourish extend them hots,. this is so strong no way i would use stone-bark over this. Moment of clarity is fun if paired with Abundance and i want to pretend i am a pally

How do you prioritise your stats and why? Well i always go tier set the ilevel, However this doesn't mean you can ignore what most Resto Druids believe is important and that is all secondary stats should be balanced as possible. Currently about 22/23% on all secondary's whilst trying to squeeze in some leech with gimping a strong secondary. it all about balance as the moment you start loading haste fro example your crit needs a boost.

What state is your Artifact in? 76 Resto 75 all other specs

Where do you acquire knowledge about your Class? resto druid discord and http://questionablyepic.com/

Raiding History:

Played since Vanilla mad MC days on my mage all the way through to Pandas and garriosn crap, got fed up had a big 3.5 break then came back i think near end of WOD when i cam back the guild i was in are below.

I was in a a nice guild called MM on Turalyon and they didn't do tactics up front they liked to do the fight and work it out on the fly. I joined when they was on Fallen Avatar last tier and i did 100+ wipes on this boss with them and we didn't really look at what we was doing wrong and what we should change to kill it. Concerned me a bit but we went into Antrous and i hadnt actually killed a mythic boss with them yet lol. Anyways we started and i found it chaotic not having a set strategy and people were confused. Dogs was a nightmare but we knocked it and a few more over but i just felt i didnt like raiding like this and after 4 months said my goodbye and went back to Horde.
I very recently changed back to Horde and came back to draenor hoping to get a spot in a nice social but progressive raiding guild. I joined a guild called Royal Council and i helped down kingaroth which was great but never really liked it or felt like it was home. That had tons of members and i made an effort to get involved but was a bit quiet outside of raids and ultimately just not a good fit.

I got invited to this current guild and they appear to have roster issues as two raids called early due to people having to leave early and stuff like that. I want to finish the tier and get settled and have a positive contribution, i feel i might be wasting my time here.

Describe your previous/current raiding experience: 5/11 but not 1st five (Garothi, Dos, AHC, Eonar, Kingaroth)

Tell us about your previous guilds and your reasons for leaving them: answered above

More Information:

Can you meet our raid schedule of Wed/Thur/Mon 21:00 to 00:00 server time with at least 90% attendance? yes i can main reason i am applying as suits me perfectly. I hate rushing to eat my dinner in 5 mins then raid or worst still eat at PC. I am based in London so times with city job and young family work excellent.

We are raiding Sundays at start of each Tier for 3-4 weeks. Are you aware of it? Again this is a bit of me! More raiding at beginning of tier get a head start knock them bosses over quick and get them on farm.

Are you able to Listen and Speak on Teamspeak? Yes and yes

What qualities do you bring to a Raid? Apart form the toon specific stuff like hots, healing, DR etc etc i am a person that can do mechanics, can speak up at the right time with an opinion and i am a team player. You wont get an ounce of drama from me about loot of any silly stuff like that. I bring a can do attitude which whether we are farming or progressing i try and keep positive.

How comfortable are you playing your offspecs? Boomie yes, numbers could be better but i hardly ever play it in mythic raids but i do have all the leggos so its just practice

How do you feel about progression raiding? its why i play the game. I dabble in some mythic +, i am shit at PVP what else am i gonna do lol. The feeling when you knock that boss over after xyz wipes is priceless

Where did you hear about Curse of Years and do you know anyone in the guild? I seen you guys about on forums and stuff before and Naggash got in touch last couple of days. We had a chat and i liked what i heard so i am applying.

What encouraged you to apply to Curse of Years? Raid times, raid days, raid quantity, but after a chat with naggash i think its sounds like the home i have been looking for since i came to game.

Do you play outside of raid? yes almost everyday. Lots of Alts scattered everywhere, if i join i hope to become part of the wider social group and have a laugh and kill some shit

Is there anything else you'd like to add to your application? if you want a fella who can have a laugh and do a bit of healing i am your man. Happy to be part of a team and put some roots down

Tell us a joke:

I said to the gym instructor: "Can you teach me to do the splits?" He said: "How flexible are you?" I said: "I can't make Tuesdays
