Hi you guys. I am currently in the guild as I applied here 2 years ago and ended up with a social spot. I've been on break for a couple of years, but I am back and I want to raid :)
So here's another application for a raid spot. I hope it is recieved well. You can catch me ingame for questions if it is considered.
Best regards, Andreas.
Your Name, Age, Gender and Location:
Andreas, 35, Danmark.
Tell us a little bit about yourself (non-WoW related Interests, Hobbies etc)
In relation to WoW, I've been a gamer all my life. I used to play fps games competitively in the early 2000s. I quit competitive when I went to university and picked up WoW because my girlfriend played it a lot. Among my other hobbies are Warhammer and flying model aircrafts and 3D helis.
Character Information:
My main character is a retribution paladin. He's a cow with the good and simple name Donwmonger, and he's awesome.

Describe your choice of talents and why you've chosen them:
At the moment I'm just going for survivability and mobility. I'm not going to pretend the extra few dps I can squeeze by changing a couple of talents will do a difference in PUG groups and LFR. I will usually change one or two talents to best suit the encounter.
How do you prioritize your stats and why?
Haste seems to be king at the moment. I'm going for crit second, but I'm perfectly fine having odd secondary stats as long as I get much haste. For now.
What state is your Artifact in?
It's 87% into level 73 with ilvl 955. I've been farming as much as possible and count on reaching 75 within a week.
Where do you acquire knowledge about your Class?
I google stuff. I've already found some dissidence between Icy Veins and Noxxic and other sites, so I haven't decided what I trust the most at the moment.

The best I can do are some ancient warcraftlogs I believe are from a pug run many months after I rerolled Warlock and long after we had SoO on farm in ANE. https://www.warcraftlogs.com/rankings/c ... 358238/5/#
Raiding History:
I have played since late tbc. In Cataclysm I started raiding in Reality on Hellfire. We got realms first Madness and I believe it was a very early kill (10HC). I wasn't on the progress kill though. When Reality went 25man I changed to A Necessary Evil because I had a good friend in the guild and raided most parts of MoP there. I was on every progress kill worth mentioning including one of my favorites, Will of the Emperor and Realms first every boss of Siege of Ogrimmar. I missed some of Throne of Thunder because I went to try my luck with a much better guild, Slaystation on Twisting Nether, but apart from some sick alt runs with Method, I didn't get much out of it, since the guild ended. During WoD, I managed to pug 8/13 Mythic and that is pretty much it. I've been away from the game a lot the last 3 years.
I should also mention I was raidleading in a night guild for a few years. It was called Ultimate End on Hellfire. Also I've done a tonne of alt raiding and played 7-8 classes well for a good while.
Sadly, my enormous e-penis went a bit flaccid when epeenbot seized to exist. I've always had some fun ranking on progress kills, because why not - as long as I'm not doing anything bad for the raid. Back in the days I've had a handful of top 10 world rankings on what was current tier.
Describe your previous/current raiding experience:
As above.
Tell us about your previous guilds and your reasons for leaving them:
My first raiding guild Reality I left because I went to play with friends when they reformed to go 25man. I've been on and off with A Necessary end since I joined them (mostly on) and left them after we finished an expansion. There's usually drama from time to time when you do 20/25 man raiding, but nothing too bad.
More Information:
Can you meet our raid schedule of Wed/Thur/Mon 21:00 to 00:00 server time with at least 90% attendance?
Mayb... DEFINATELY.
We are raiding Sundays at start of each Tier for 3-4 weeks. Are you aware of it?
As long as you don't force me to wear pants after 21.00, I can live with that.
Are you able to Listen and Speak on Teamspeak?
I thought nobody used teamspeak anymore. Sure, I have a manly manvoice.
What qualities do you bring to a Raid?
I learn the encounters quick and always well prepared.
How comfortable are you playing your offspecs?
I am very comfortable playing protection. For healing I would prefer another class.
How do you feel about progression raiding?
I like it a whole lot more than farming.
Where did you hear about Curse of Years and do you know anyone in the guild?
I applied nearly two years ago and was given a social spot because it was end tier and you didn't feel you needed an ungeared player. I ended up doing some mythic dungeons with some of you but that was it. I went off the grid before Legion hit.
What encouraged you to apply to Curse of Years?
It's a good guild that has existed for a long time. You seem to do well for the amount of days you raid. Plus I don't have to change realm :)
Do you play outside of raid?
Much.
Is there anything else you'd like to add to your application?
Not much. I really wanted to have a better geared character before applying, but I think it would be stupid waiting given the new tier has just started. I'm not in any particular hurry getting into progress raiding, but I've tried joining a guild late in a tier before and still ended up being important to getting the last progress kill, so I know it can be worth it.
Tell us a joke:
A man was really upset because the car was at the repair shop again. He told his wife, "I don't get it, they are replacing the clutch again". The wife replied. "Don't blame me, I never use it!"
