Describe your choice of talents and why you've chosen them:

For the first row of talents i run Blooddrinker as it provides the best output for dps and healing and it is on demand. The other talents on this row just don'r provide as much as this. Heartbreaker is very situational for when there is going to be a number of targets all the time. Blood Worms is just a no go as its proc based and just doesn't keep up with the other two talents in this row.

For the second row i am using Rapid Decomposition as it provides more dps and runic power generation which allows for more Death Strikes leading to more healing and damage. Spectral Deflection has its uses on some fights where the boss mechanics do stupid amounts of damage and you need the extra reduction. Heart of Ice is a new talent and it looks ok on paper but in reality there isn't much fights where you need IBF to be up for an extended period and if not managed properly can be a poor choice.

For the third row i am using Ossuary as it provides a resource cost reduction to Death Strike allowing for more uses of Death Strike overall and as it revolves around bone shield which is kept up 100% of the time its just a great passive talent with a powerful effect, The other two talents are just not as strong as Ossuary so i have found a use for them.

For the fourth row i am using Red Thirst, this talent is outright broken in my opinion, it allows for a much better uptime of Vampiric Blood which is bloods main cooldown this talent becomes even stronger if you have the lego belt but sadly i do not have this one. The other two talents pale in comparison to this talent and therefore hardly ever get used.

For the fifth row i run with Tightening grasp most of the time, this talent reduces the cooldown period of AoE Grip which is a massive help in things like M+ and can be used on some fights within raids, it also provides a slow for kiting if needed. The other choices are decent aswell but i feel the reduced cooldown on grip makes this talent slightly better. The only other talent i would use here is March of the Dammed for the extension on wraithwalk our main mobility tool.

For the sixth row i am using Foul Bulwark usually for the extra hp passive from Bone Shield, this talent and Ossuary pair very well due to wanting to keep the stacks of Bone Shield on 5+ so you usually have 10% extra hp at minimum. Rune tap is also a very good talent for when you need an extra cooldown on fights with heavy hitting mechanics. Will of the Necropolis isnt going to be used as healers will not allow a tank to stay below 35% Hp so it wont really ever be in effect, the only time i see this talent ever being used is if we get another Tyrant Velhari style boss fight with the HP reduction coming into play for an extended period of time. With 7.2 they added a new Lego ring that gives talents and the ring gives Foul Bulwark to blood allowing the picking up of Rune Tap which is awesome, i am currently using this ring for now.

For the seventh row i am running with Blood Mirror alot of the time, this gives us an extra cooldown again which also provides a dps boost when taking heavy damage. I also run Purgatory on some fights as a lifeline to if there is something that needs to be soaked for example the fire cleave from Spellblade mythic i was soaking the first one solo with purgatory as a saftey next incase VB and AMS was not enough. Bonestorm is more of a dps talent and can be used in M+ mostly but even then i feel that blood mirror will still be better overall.

How do you prioritize your stats and why?

I am running with the Haste > Vers > Crit >= Mast

Haste is overall our best stat due to the fact that it provides a reduced cooldown period of certain spells like Blood Boil and reduces the rune recharge rate meaning we can use more rune spenders to generate more runic power allowing more Death Strikes which in turn provides more dps and healing. Haste also reduces the global CD from the baste of 1.5 seconds.

After haste i am going for versatility, Vers provides a damage boost, healing increase and reduced intake of damage.

After Vers i generally want to go for crit due to a passive on the artifact wep called Skeletal Shattering which has a change on taking damage to reduce it by an additional 8% based on crit %, this means that crit is not only a dps boost but a small survival boost.

After Crit i go for mastery as this boosts the effect of the shield from Death Strike heal by a decent % and makes up a decent amount of healing, but after absorbs were nerfed going into legion that made mastery for blood DK lose alot of value.

What state is your Artifact in?

925 with 57 traits, i also have mmy unholy wep at 52 traits.

Where do you acquire knowledge about your Class?

I use the class discord, talking to some other tanks who are still raiding in hardcore guilds and looking at logs.

Raiding History:

I stared playing the game late Wolk and was playing casually so did not do much raiding. When Cata came i started to get into raiding and started off slow doing mostly 10 man normal in the first tier. When FL came i wanted to step up and delve into heroic content and successfully did this. When DS came i wanted to step up even further and joined a guild that was pushing for faster progress more than a casual heroic team was. I stayed with the same mentality throughout Mists and WoD. In legion my raiding has been lacking to be honest i am looking to get back into a guild that actually clears content. Throughout all this time i have mained a Death Knight and been tanking.

Describe your previous/current raiding experience:

Legion: EN - 7/7 HC 3/7M, ToV 2/3M and 3/3HC, NH 8/10M and 10/10HC.
At the start of legion i was playing casually with mates will explain more in the next section.

WoD: HM - 7/7M, BRF 9/10M and then 10/10 M after patch selling mounts. HFC 13/13M

MoP: 6/6HC(old mythic) MsV, 6/6HC(old mythic) HoF & 3/4 ToeS HC(old mythic), 12/13HC ToT with realm first lei shen and 13/14 HC SoO and then 14/14M when it was converted to mythic.

Cata: BwD 6/6N, TofW 2/2N 4/4N BoT, FL 6/7HC and 7/7N. DS 8/8HC 5% nerf.

Tell us about your previous guilds and your reasons for leaving them:

In Legion i have been in a few guild that have been failed projects, The first was Invidious on Tarren Mill where it was a bunch of mates who wanted to raid casually but i found myself and a few other craving going back to mythic raiding so we moved to RavenCrest in January, at this time i had took a break from the game to deal with Uni after clearing En on Heroic, When we came to RavenCrest we joined a guild with a few raiders from the past called Disorganised but after failing to clear Nh on mythic we started to lose players and i decided to call it quits from that guild due to not wanting to rebuild half of a team. this guild is still raiding but not sure on how they are doing. After i left i joined a guild called Hive with a friend but i told them i was not going to stick around as they were not the guild i was looking for the raiding atmosphere was not enjoyable and players were causing drama between each other, So i am now guildless looking for a solid place to call home.

Back in WoD i was in a guild called Invidious on Tarren Mill which me and a few others created at the start of the expansion, we managed to clear HM mythic and a good chunk of BRF before the guild collapsed on itself due to lack of recruits coming in. When this happened i joined a guild called Angels of Ares on Emerald Dream with a Hpally friend from Invidious and we managed to get 9/10M and a few very close attempts on BH before HFC released. When HFC released i was approached by a guild called Ninth Order on Frostmane who wanted me to come be their new tank, i took this opportunity to raid at a good level and cleard HFC with them on mythic and sold a bunch of BH mounts aswell. When legion was on its way i was way too busy to keep the 5 day a week going into the expansion and went back to Tarren Mill to join Invidious as some of the officers remained behind to make a casual 2 day a week guild.

In MoP i started in a guild called Disqualified on Twisting Nether clearing MsV Heroic, HoF Heroic and 3/4 in ToeS with alot of progress on Sha, During progression in ToT the guild ended up splitting up due to a few raiders wanting to push for top in the world ranks and are now still in the core of Fat Shark Yes so this killed Disqualified middle of ToT after killing Durumu Heroic. After this happened i joined a guild called Persistence on Eonar and took realm first lei shen and Ra Den the day after SoO was launched. This guild didn't last as the core joined another guild to form 25 man raiding guild and at the time i was not interested in raiding 25 man as i prefered the 10 man format. This made me join a guild called Collusion on Chamber of Aspects and managed to clear SoO with them on heroic and the mythic once that change came in. With the launch of WoD the guild moved to Tarren Mill Under the name Invidious.

Cata: I started out casual raiding in a guild called Phoenix Faction on Ahn'Quiraj this was my first server i started on during Wolk, with this guild we cleared all bosses on normal in the first tier. As i said before i wanted to start to push myself with raiding at the launch of FL and joined a guild called Tainted Blood on the same server clearing 6/7 HC. With the coming of DS i wished to push myself further and joined a guild called Anxiety again on the same server, We cleared everything on Heroic in DS and then with the coming on MoP the officers wished to take the guild to Twisting nether under the name Disqualified.

More Information:

Can you meet our raid schedule of Wed/Thur/Mon 21:00 to 00:00 server time with at least 90% attendance?

Yes with no issue

We are raiding Sundays at start of each Tier for 3-4 weeks. Are you aware of it?

Yes

Are you able to Listen and Speak on Teamspeak?

Yes not a problem

What qualities do you bring to a Raid?

I feel i am a very prepared raider who brings fresh ideas and solutions during progress to help the guild, I have also been a raid leading a fair amount of time so can call things out with no issue. I can take criticism without an issue and use it to improve myself and if i make a mistake it will be corrected the next pull.

How comfortable are you playing your offspecs?

I can play unholy to a good level i feel.

How do you feel about progression raiding?

I love progress raiding its where the fun is, who doesn't love the feeling of killing a boss that took weeks to down it just feels amazing.

Where did you hear about Curse of Years and do you know anyone in the guild?

Nagassh contacted me a few days ago about applying.

What encouraged you to apply to Curse of Years?

I wish to raid at a good level again and clear content at a good pace while enjoying myself and making good friends along the way.

Do you play outside of raid?

Yes i do plenty of M+ and RBGs others than this i play alot of games on other platforms such as steam or origin.

Is there anything else you'd like to add to your application?

Yes, I spoke to Nagassh about i am away on holiday untill the 23rd of July but after that is done i will be here 100% of the time unless something irl comes up in which case the officers will know with plenty of time.
