Raiding History:

Tier 13/14
Lost Society (which became) All the things > Deus Ex Machina - Xavius
6/7 8/8 This was the tier where i move to a more progress focused mindset and joined some higher rated guilds. The general population dissatisfaction with cataclysm caused some guild moves.I left Deus Ex Machina at the end of the expansion due to not enjoying the guild atmosphere there was very little social activity outside of raids and even raids were not particularly social,

Tier 15 6/6 6/6 3/4
(Reformed) Lost Society - Tarren Mill
Players from my Tier 13 returned to the game and reformed LS - Had kills ranging from 500 to 2000 Had to stop raiding due to a promotion at work just before starting Sha of Fear process.

Tier 17/16
Éclipse - Tarren Mill
Played very casually having taking a break for a IRL career change during T15

Tier 18
Éclipse > Bad Karma - Tarren Mill > Enlightened - Dragonblight
13/13 M Due to guild instability (Eclipse stopped raiding and went full casual & Bad Karma disbanded after GM quit) I guild hopped twice during this tier. Ended up joining Enlightened my previous guild when the were 11/13 (at this point ranked ~3000) Finished the tier with 1461 Archi Kill

Tier 19
Enlightened - Dragonblight
EN 7/7 As a 2 day guild we weren't really able to maintain pace on such a short instance but cleared as TOV landed.
TOV 2/3 We struggled to put the time in to TOV but got 2/3 before Nighthold dropped.
Nighthold 9/10 (have Gul"dan not Elisande) I was healing officer and decided to sit myself for Elisande as we had a very strong healing team assuming i would get in for the second kill unfortunately some drama cuased the raid team to disband after gul"dan. The GM went a bit crazy and kicked half the raid team to bring in some real life friends causing the rest to leave or quit the game.

More Information:

Can you meet our raid schedule of Wed/Thur/Mon 21:00 to 00:00 server time with at least 90% attendance?
Yes

We are raiding Sundays at start of each Tier for 3-4 weeks. Are you aware of it?
Sure

Are you able to Listen and Speak on Teamspeak?
Yes

What qualities do you bring to a Raid?
I consider myself very tactically astute and am always willing to sacrifice personal glory for the guild as a whole this has usually made me quite popular within my healing teams (75% of my friends lists are healers). All of my last 4 guilds i have been asked to be an officer.

I am generally an knowledgeable and experienced raider who is always willing to help people out in and outside of the raid.

How do you feel about progression raiding?
Aside from a short stint as a casual player i have always thought of myself as a progression raider (thought only semi-hardcore once). I enjoy testing myself and working with a team to be at the cutting edge of our capabilities. I don’t mind not having huge progress as long as it feels the team are all bringing their best to a fight.

Where did you hear about Curse of Years and do you know anyone in the guild?
Nagassh added me on B.Net regarding joining.

What encouraged you to apply to Curse of Years?
My main reason my interest in CoY is the raid times. However having looking into you guys a bit you seem to be a very stable guild going back several years with solid progression and honestly i like the cartoons on the guild website.

Do you play outside of raid?
Alot, I have 5 alts all ~900 Ilvl. as a rule i try to clear all AP world quests on my paladin everyday (plus doing Broken shore on my alts twice a week to keep them ticking over), I also look to complete a (currently) +10 on every character and a +15 on my paladin every week.

Is there anything else you'd like to add to your application?
I am looking to move with two of my friends from the previous guild Luxy and Sparkleshine. Luxy is 10/10 Sparkie is 9/10 experienced.

Tell us a joke:
Not sure if this counts as mine but Demon Hunter Tanks (or was that blizzards in joke?)

Thanks for the application, I'll copy it over to our internal discussion section for the healers to have a gander and try to get back to you soon.

Hi mate, Apologies it's taken us so long to get back to you, But we've made a decision and we'd like to offer you a trial in CoY.

Quick note for you, is that it's unlikely we'll be able to get you in for any immediate progression as we're currently extending the Gul'dan Lock out and putting all of our focus into killing this boss, so we'll likely stick to the same set up.

Welcome aboard. :)
