General:

Your Name, Age, Gender and Location:

Vala, 25, Female, Iceland.

Tell us a little bit about yourself (non-WoW related Interests, Hobbies etc)
There's not too much to tell really, I spend most of my time either working or playing WoW. When I'm not doing either of those things I like to travel, read and meet new people! I also have 2 cats who are pretty cute.

Character Information:

Battletag:
Vala#22645

Describe your choice of talents and why you've chosen them:
Standard talents: Lonely Winter, Ice Floes, Incanter's Flow, and Thermal Void (The best overall talents for frost mage atm). Tier 4 and 6 vary depending on fights, Frozen Touch/Unstable Magic for pure single target and Splitting Ice/Arctic Gale for cleave/aoe.

How do you prioritize your stats and why?
Shatter Cap to abit above 33% so every lance crits. After shatter cap, crit declines sharply in value and Int-Haste-Vers takes over by far.

What state is your Artifact in?
56 traits, almost 57.

Where do you acquire knowledge about your Class?
The Altered-Time forums/guides from Thingy and Frosted.

Raiding History:
Started progression raiding in Highmaul with a guild called Inferior - Dragonblight, got 6/7M there. In BRF we merged with another guild on the server and became a guild called Enlightened. Progressed with them thru BRF 9/10M and HFC 10/10M, after that we did EN 7/7M, ToV 2/3M and NH 9/10M (was sat out on Gul'dan because we already had a frost mage for the orb tanking and the melee requirements on parasites in last phase.)

Describe your previous/current raiding experience:
Have also been casually raiding in previous expansions from WotLK.

Tell us about your previous guilds and your reasons for leaving them:
Was in Inferior which eventually merged into Enlightened. I really enjoyed my time with those guilds for the most part but for the past few months there had been alot of drama and the raid environment had gotten pretty toxic so I decided to go with some good friends and get a new start :)

More Information:

Can you meet our raid schedule of Wed/Thur/Mon 21:00 to 00:00 server time with at least 90% attendance?

Yes I can! I very rarely miss raids and if I do its with a looong notice. :)

We are raiding Sundays at start of each Tier for 3-4 weeks. Are you aware of it?
Yes.

Are you able to Listen and Speak on Teamspeak?
Yes.

What qualities do you bring to a Raid?
I bring stable dps and awareness to tactics and timers. I'm very good at taking criticism and am always looking for ways to improve my performance. I'm also a fast learner and generally a calm and super nice person!

How do you feel about progression raiding?
I really, really enjoy it. I like the dedication and accomplishing things as a team!

Where did you hear about Curse of Years and do you know anyone in the guild?
I heard about you guys from my friend Balue! Don't know anyone in the guild yet tho. :)

What encouraged you to apply to Curse of Years?
I first took note of your raid times and dates which are very ideal and the relaxed but professional raid environment is also something thats important to me.

Do you play outside of raid?
Yes quite a bit! Am almost always online on my mage, do all AP WQ's and weekly stuff. I also have alts that I do things on but none of them are horde yet!

Is there anything else you'd like to add to your application?
I'm applying with friends from my old guild, Luxy 10/10 and Balue 9/10! Am also always happy to make new friends :)

Tell us a joke:
Arcane mages.

Hi mate, Apologies it's taken us so long to get back to you, But we've made a decision and we'd like to offer you a trial in CoY.

Quick note for you, is that it's unlikely we'll be able to get you in for any immediate progression as we're currently extending the Gul'dan Lock out and putting all of our focus into killing this boss, so we'll likely stick to the same set up.

Welcome aboard. :)
