  • Your preferred raid role and any offspec.:
    Marksmanship Hunter, Off-spec BM

Character Related Information...

  • Pick two encounters and describe which talents and glyphs (and possibly spec) you use, and why.:
    Talents:

T15 - Usually uses Posthaste or Crouching Tiger.....
Posthaste: is good for Kilrogg with the extra movement speed (positioning on bloods and visions)
Crouching Tiger: Good for encounters like Gorefiend where u can mitigate the damage from "Touch of Doom" and even save alot of space by stacking on top of another pool (you dont take damage while Deterenced) (the 60sec cut-off is really nice for that)

    T30 - Binding Shot
Binding shot: Not much to say here, the best talent for raiding as a hunter

    T45 - Iron Hawk
Iron Hawk: Pretty much the best talent you can have as a Marksmanship Hunter. The reason why is because you mitigate damage overtime which will help the healers alot. The reason why there's no need for me to use something like "Exhilaration" is because i can heal myself with healing tonic (healing increased cuz i'm an alchemist). "Spirit Bond" only necessary if you have a pet, can be used if you pick focusing shot for fights like Iron Reaver.

    T60 - Thrill of the Hunt(TotH)
TotH: The best in T60 that synergizes with your t18 mm 4-set bonus. The procs are really important and you get them alot, because your aimed shot is instant cast.

    T75 - Stampede
Stampede: The reason why i picked stampede is because it's on for about 45 secs and it's still the best damage tool you can get from T75. (also synergizes well with ring)

    T90 - Barrage
Barrage: When you play marksmanship hunter you can definitely have lack of aoe damage. AoE damage is a heavy part of HFC and therefore it's my best choice in T90

T100 - Lone Wolf or Focusing Shot
Lone Wolf: Best for encounters where you have to be mobile
Focusing Shot: Best for encounters when you can be less mobile (Kinda like a double-edged sword or high risk high reward talent. Really good effort if you can use it correctly) The most important to remember is to summon your pet when switching up the T100 talent....

    Glyphs:

    Major Glyphs:

Glyph of Explosive Trap: Really good for kiting management (Example would be socrethar ghosts)
Glyph of Chimaera Shot: 2% heal for every chimaera shot is more than you think it is (Chimaera shot is the most important spell as a MM hunter and therefore you will help out the healers a tad)
Glyph of Liberation: Another healing spell that heals you for 4% when you disengage
Glyph of Deterence: Good to use when there's some timed aoe damage encounters (Black Hole on Xhul'Horac)
Glyph of Mirrored Blades: Don't actually know where and when you can use it inside HFC, but you can use it for challenge mode inside Shadowmoon Burial Grounds, so u can instant kill a skeleton on last boss
Glyph of Enduring Deceit: Can be used as an extra damage mitigation (even tho you would be fine already with deterence x2 + eventually Crouching Tiger..)

    Minor Glyphs:

Glyph of Aspect of The Cheetah: (good if you need the extra movement speed and u wont get dazed (no aspect of the daze, yay!)
rest of minor glyphs is basicly out of combat things of if you want to ress your pet with getting pushed back. So i dont think you'll need the explanation for them. If you want to, go ahead and ask me :d

  • How do you prioritise your stats?:
Crit(until 53% which is cap and you'll possible never get) > Multistrike > Versa > Mastery > Haste < Spirit
  • Where do you acquire information and knowledge about your class?:
Elitist Jerks (Effinhunter) & And a bit with Devai (hunter in Paragon)

    Karazhan = Full Clear

    WOTLK
    Naxxramas 10man = 15/15
    Naxxramas 25man = 15/15
    Ulduar 10/25man = 11/14 (didn't play much during ulduar)
    ToC Normal = 5/5
    ToC HC = 3/5
    ICC Normal = 12/12
ICC HC = 11/12 (got glory of icecrown citadel raider before it was nerfed)

(I Played Resto Druid during TBC and WOTLK)

    Cataclysm:
Cannot remember the exact amount. I raided with Warlock/Priest back then.
But tried all content back then prior to nerf

    MoP:
    ToO= Normal/Heroic (not mythic)
SoO = Full clear on Heroic 14/14

    Yes
  • What qualities do you bring to a raid?:
    - I bring alot of knowledge about mechanics and gameplay
    - Voice and communcation

Archimonde normal - Rank #3 back in september (rank 8 now or something)

  • Share how you feel about progression raiding.:
I'm the type of guy that want to do my very best to be on top of the game. Im striving to be the best and the reason why i applied to your guild is that i didn't felt motivated or pushed over my limits in terms of power (cuz i was overall the very best dps in my old guild)

I'm dedicated to progressing and i hate when i waste other peoples time.
I'm good at reading up homework aka boss preparation and conclusions on what i could've done better etc.

I'm fresh and motivated for Mythic (cuz i haven't really done serious raiding since WOTLK

  • What are your faults in relation to raiding?:
    Every human makes mistakes.
    - You can call me a human :-)

  • Where did you hear about us? What encouraged you to apply?:
    Wowprogress.
It feels like your the only horde guild who takes raiding semi-serious on Hellfire/Arathor
(And i wanna help you achieve better results)

  • Is there anything else you would like to say?:
Thanks for having the time to read this thread.
My Englando is not 10/10 but i hope you got the key-factors out of the application
Would love to join u guys. I'm not gonna disappoint you
You can add me on battle-tag: Frekzz#1826

  • What do you get excited about (non WoW related)?:
Football is my favourite sport (i coach youth boys in football)

Hi,

What do you think about changes in Legion and Effinhunter vs Azortharion? Could you tell me something more about how you operate within raid encounter with such default UI? Is there something that will improve your abilities like WA or anything like that?

Cheers,
Y

Most people gather intel on icy-veins with the Azortharion guide.
Mostly the stuff effinhunter tells me is the same as Azortharion.
Effinhunter is more about going deeply into statistics and simulations of the different talents/encounters and good tips for the specific encounter (about when you should use deterence and that u should kite the adds on archimonde for example)

I'm very good at adapting to changes. That's actually one of the things i like the most.

there's not a specific reason why im using a default UI.
I like the default ui and i'm comfortable with it and it makes me focus more on the encounter.

I understand the addapting part but this doesnt solve issue - do you use wakeaura and how you track your dots, procs?

Can we have a screen from raid combat?

I'm using weakaura's for tracking my (flask/food), Mastery: "Sniper Training" and ToTH(Thrill of The Hunt) procs.
Apart from that there's not really any dots to keep track of as a MM hunter. (but will surely make new weakaura's for dots when they change MM in legion for example.

A Screenshot will probably be uploaded later tonight

Thanks for quick answer on that. This is all we need to make a decision. Apology its taking a long time, we usually are quite efficient with this, but its only Archimonde left so we take a little time to think how and who we need.

We shall disscus your app tonight and give you an answer.
