Describe your choice of talents and why you've chosen them:
15 - Key choice, on low haste combo point generation can be complicated due to low energy, getting a proc that generates 2 of them for so little energy is key, additionaly, the spell hurts and applies on hit effects, you can also debate about how bad the Sinister strike one is on low haste, when you energy starve your dps will drop alot. -About ghostly strike- Situational talent, can be useful from time to time, generally useless.
25 - Rogues are already fast, grappling hook cd is affected by the combo point usage, Long arms is most useful to maintain dps while dodging mechanics
30- Vigor is the weakest link - the bonus energy gets ran through fast, and the 10 % is very futile considering the low energy regen rogues already have. MFD and Deeper Stratagem are neck and neck, mainly depending on the fights or dungeons played, Deeper stratagem is mainly the best choice since 6 cp finishers can hit really hard with the bonus 5 % damage. MFD would be better on some fights where there are adds, considering it's CD refreshes when an add dies.
35 - Very simple choice, cheat death is the superior choice in many cases as it can act as a "7% hp immunity", if there are targeted spells then elusiveness is very efficient for the single target reduction, especially on progression, Iron Stomach is decent, but much less useful as it is not as worth as the 2 other spells.
40- Ressourceful line of talents, i prefer playing with prey on the week, since the 10 % damage scales of my blade flurry, the other good option would be dirty tricks if there is cc/stun chain to do. Blinding power is decent but not as good, it's the inferior option here.
45- Alacrity all the way here, this is what is going to allow rogues to go for vers crit and not need more haste baseline. the stacking haste that has almost 100 % uptime is undeniably the best of the choices here, as well as being the least RNG dependant.
50- Blade rush is the go to on this line of talents, when starved on energy and nothing to regen (bad roll or whatever) blade rush allows the regeneration to help you get back into rotation. Killing spree hasn't been good since WOTLK, and dancing steel is good, but for now it's not better than blade rush at all, especially since rogue is target capped. (blade rush is also very useful as a mobility spell, if you have to swap targets or get to the boss fast.)
How do you prioritize your stats and why?
-Around 10-15 % haste (no more because of alacrity putting you up to 20-25) -this amount also matters alot on your burst,
Mainstat Vers - Increase of all damage
Secondary stat Crit - Rogues have high crit and a roll with crit added, not so worth to add too much of this.
Where do you acquire knowledge about your Class?
I mainly simm to figure stuff out for myself, and talk about this class to people who have been playing it for years, simms are very useful, but some softcaps are hard to figure out from time to time, such as this haste one.

Raiding History:
Hardcore raider up to MoP where i got my CE garrosh, had to quit the game (retail) because it's more time consuming, played a few years on and off casually on a private server since i love this game but couldn't spend too much time on it, came back at the end of BFA (1 month before prepatch) reached 11/12 mythic then was basically waiting room for shadowlands,
I have always enjoyed every raid i have done and maximised everything i could possibly maximise to do good in them.
Describe your previous/current raiding experience:
Previous : Started in TBC, didn't get to 70 since i was new to the game, cleared some ICC's in WOTLK, and started to pick up the game seriously in Cata/mop, killing all raids.
current raiding experience : Curved on Castle, 2/10 mythic.
Tell us about your previous guilds and your reasons for leaving them:
I joined Delusions as a social, since my friend who got me back onto retail is in there, i then basically joined Imaginary on Kazzak straight away, i expected alot from them and their members, but the average player skill level is too low,and too many people put too little effort into their characters, leading to countless wipes on very simple mechanics, wiping and progressing is something normal that i enjoy doing when the content is truly challenging, but when it's over and over and over to the same mechanics, that are fairly simple, and that we are going nowhere, i am looking for more than that, since i strive to be the best in what i do, in game or out of game.
More Information:
Can you meet our raid schedule of Wed/Thur/Mon 21:00 to 00:00 server time with at least 90% attendance?
Yes, very easily
We also raid on Sunday at the start of a new raiding tier. Are you aware of this?
Yes this is no issue at all
Are you able to Listen and Speak on Teamspeak?
Yes
What qualities do you bring to a Raid?
I am patient and learn from my mistakes if i make any, and if i make a mistake i don't do it twice.
I have a positive attitude during the raid, and i am always looking for improvements if needed, looking to do better every try.
How comfortable are you playing your offspecs?
If i am asked to play sub, i can, although outlaw is currently highly underrated.
Same for assasination ( i doubt you would want me to do that this tier )
How do you feel about progression raiding?
As i said, i love it if the content is challenging, and really puts the players to the test.
Where did you hear about Curse of Years and do you know anyone in the guild?
I was looking for a guild on wowprogress, i do not know anyone inside the guild.
What encouraged you to apply to Curse of Years?
"-Our aim is to clear each tier while relevant while also allowing people the time they need to attend to their family, work or whatever other real life requirements they have.
-While our guild is intended to maintain a casual atmosphere and relatively light raiding hours, we still expect people to maintain their characters to a high standard in whatever the expansion dictates, whether that be as simple as turning up with gems and enchants to making sure AP is ground out to a reasonable level."
This speaks for itself, this guild is exactly what i'm looking for, additionnaly if you are in need of another rogue, i'm your man.
Do you play outside of raid?
Yes i really really enjoy m+, why not some pvp with friends.
Is there anything else you'd like to add to your application?
Thank you for taking your time to read my application, i hope to hear from you soon. Although i have little experience in bfa, i can prove that i am worth your time and investment. Also please as i know you will check logs, consider that in a guild where half the dps parse green or gray, it's extremely hard on some bosses to do more, even though who cares about logs on progression, i wanted to point this out. While i'm at it, i am down to make any alt that is not a healer that can benefit the guild.
