Tell us a little bit about yourself (non-WoW related Interests, Hobbies etc)
I just passed my assessment after the first year of university/college. Currently studying like a mix of IT and economics. Besides that I play football in a club twice a week and go for a run once or twice a week aswell. If I'm not studying or running around chasing a ball, I'm sitting at my PC either watching streams, series, or playing games (WoW, Dota 2, and more).

Describe your choice of talents and why you've chosen them:
Holy
Lvl 15: Enlightenment is the default choice for raiding due to the extra mana it provides. More mana = more healing. Trail of light could be used on encounters that require alot of spot healing, but is usually weaker than the first option.
Lvl 30: Angelic Feather is my default talent here. It's great for mobility. If I really needed more damage reduction I could look towards getting Perserverance instead.
Lvl 45: Afterlife for raiding due to the increased duration on guardian spirit. Censure or Shining force could be picked up if there was additional control needed.
Lvl 60: Light of the Naaru is by far the strongest option on this row because it let's me cast even more holy words. Symbol of Hope doesn't really have a spot at the moment. This could be picked up if there were severe mana problems.
Lvl 75: Surge of Light doesn't really cut it in a raiding environment. The other options are therefor Piety and Binding Heal. Binding Heal has recently become very popular due to its low mana cost and good healing output. Thus making it an ideal talent to pick up for long encounters, but also encounters that dont have alot of ticking damage going on for the reduced cooldown on prayer of mending to make a difference.
Lvl 90: Divinity is by far the best choice at the moment. It increases my healing by quite alot and does not cost any mana compared to Halo or Divine Star. Divine Star and Halo also are healing wise not really worth picking up in their current state.
Lvl 100: Benediction is independant of the Lvl 75 talent the best choice for raiding since it provides even more healing without costing any additional mana. Apotheosis could be picked up for fights that require alot of burst healing.
Discipline (short)
Lvl 15: Generally Twist of Fate since the extra 20% healing you do during it's uptime really strong. Castigation can be good in some situations and obviously becomes default with the legendary talent ring (which I don't have, sadly).
Lvl 60: Mind Bender Provides more healing (more burst windows) compared to Shield Discipline, but the mana you gain/save through Shield Discipline makes it generally stronger for longer encounters or if you struggle with mana in general.
Lvl 75: Usually Sanctuary for more Smite absorbs. Clarity of Will could be picked up if it is required to "cheese" soaking mechanics.
Lvl 90: Halo can be considered on a ST fight with high, bursty raid damage. Otherwise Purge the Wicked outshines the other 2 choices.
Lvl 100: Evangelism is pretty much the only choice for raiding.
How do you prioritize your stats and why?
Holy
Generally I want my haste to be between 15%-20%, just to be able to get my spells out in a decent amount of time. Crit and Mastery depend alot on the fight and the state of progression. For mythic progression I want my mastery to ideally be at around 45% with Crit still being around 27%-30% at least. During farm this changes quite a bit since Echo of Light (our mastery) will cause alot of overhealing. This will make crit and haste become more valuable.
Discipline
Haste is the best stat by a bit. I aim at a value of 36% at the moment. After that I usually want to get more mastery to increase my atonment healing. Crit and Vers after that.

Where do you acquire knowledge about your Class?
On different sites (Howtopriest, Focused Will), different discords of priest players and communities, warcraftlogs, and streams (mainly Automatikjak on Twitch)
Paste a your UI via IN COMBAT (Ensure that all Key Bindings are visible)
(I'm either too stupid to get the images to work or it's just too late when I wrote this app, either way I just dropped the links below, sorry!)

I'd rather have you not look at my logs (just yet), since pretty much all of them have been from pugs while being guildless or having too many healers in the current guild I'm trailing in :-)
Would be cool if I, despite the bad logs / lack of logs could still get a chance of a trial and prove in person what I'm capable of.
Raiding History
Describe your previous/current raiding experience:
I have only really started progression raiding in MoP, where I picked up the game again during SoO and managed to clear half of the instance on Mythic(/heroic). In WoD I only really managed to get the first 3 mythic bosses down in both HM and BRF. At this point I got I realised that I didn't enjoy the game at this pace, so I looked for a new guild and managed to get a server first mythic Archimonde and ended up being in the top 400 world as a guild.
In MoP I have been playing a MW/BrM Monk and in WoD I pretty much only played as a mage.
Tell us about your previous guilds and your reasons for leaving them:
I left the quite successful guild in HFC during farm after the mythic archimonde kill because I had some real life stuff to sort out first before stepping back into the game again. When I came back, the guild wasn't the same anymore with loads of previous members quitting the game. So I thought to myself to just play casually for the rest of legion. This was not fun at all for me though so I was on the lookout for a new guild. The guild I'm currently trialing has nice people in it, but got quite a big problem with attendance of their raiders, which makes progressing mythic not possible at the moment and neither for the near future.
More Information
Can you meet our raid schedule of Wed/Thur/Mon 21:00 to 00:00 server time with at least 90% attendance?
Can definitely make the raid times. There might be a few occasions in the future where I have to pass on raids due to exams at university but that won't be until december/january.
We are raiding Sundays at start of each Tier for 3-4 weeks. Are you aware of it?
I am totally aware and okay with that.
Are you able to Listen and Speak on Teamspeak?
Yes, of course.
What qualities do you bring to a Raid?
I think my raid awareness is quite good. What I mean by that is not only looking at timers and my own positioning, but also the positioning of players around me. For priests this comes in nicely since Leap of Faith (grip) can sometimes make the difference between people living or dying. Besides that I think just the level I can play at on my class with the appropriate gear is what makes me a must have in raids :-)
How comfortable are you playing your offspecs?
I feel pretty comfortable playing both discipline and shadow. Obviously I wouldn't consider my disc game to be perfect, but that's mostly due to me not knowing certain burst damage windows (for mythic at least). Also, not having velens limits not only my motivation to play disc, but also my healing a bit. That's why I'm currently trying my best to get the damn trinket :-)
How do you feel about progression raiding?
Progression raiding is probably the one aspect of the game I enjoy the most by far. Especially getting hard bosses down after plenty of wipes really makes you feel you've accomplished something, not alone but as a team.
Where did you hear about Curse of Years and do you know anyone in the guild?
I've seen Nagassh respond to a priest that was looking for a guild on the forums. Since the priest did not reply I thought I'll take my chance and poke him on battle.net. I highly doubt that I know anyone in the guild though.
What encouraged you to apply to Curse of Years?
Pretty much my the situation I'm currently in (trialing in a non-progressing guild) and the fact that I really would like to push myself again to a higher level and also be able to play with higher skilled players.
Do you play outside of raid?
Currently quite alot, yes. This because I'm trying to catch up as best as possible in terms of legendary items count. We shall see whether RNGesus is with me or not :-)
Is there anything else you'd like to add to your application?
I pretty much covered everything I wanted you to know.
Tell us a joke:
How do you know someone's been playing since Vanilla? Don't worry, they'll tell you.
