Describe your choice of talents and why you've chosen them:
Not gonna lie I’m not a fan of this question as most of the answers will just be, cause it provides the highest output, but here goes anyway.
Level 15: Animal Companion - simply highest damage choice in all situations, Killer Instinct is maybe usable if there’s a boss where only damage below 35% matters and anything above is useless, Dire Beast is not used ever.
Level 25: One with the Pack - right now with perfect crit gear it’s the highest damage talent, but at lower gear levels Scent of Blood tends to pull ahead, Chimaera Shot is never used.
Level 30: Natural Mending - the only talent improving survivability in a normal raid encounter, Trailblazer can be used for the very rare situations where you move for a prolonged period of time while not being able to attack anything, Camouflage is only used for skips in m+ or pvp.
Level 35: Thrill of the Hunt - best choice in every situation, both Spitting Cobra and A Murder of Crows are way too far behind to ever be used.
Level 40: Posthaste - for extra mobility and clearing slow/root debuffs, the whole tier is situational, Born To Be Wild lowers turtle cd to 2:24 from 3 min so it could be used on a boss that has an immunable mechanic every 2,5 min, Binding Shot could be used to help with cc’ing adds.
Level 45: Stomp - once again the best choice in every situation, Stampede is a pretty decent burst aoe cd, but it never had a relevant use as Stomp is just too good, Barrage is just a meme, does useless dps and is only ever used to aoe pull in open world.
Level 50: Killer Cobra - best pure single target talent, Aspect of the Beast is the better aoe talent, Bloodshed is yet another talent that’s never used.
How do you prioritize your stats and why?
Agility>Crit>Haste>=Vers>Mastery
Generally crit is the best stat especially at higher gear levels and right now also thanks to Dance of Death trait. Haste and vers are close to each other and mastery is slightly behind, but it gains more value at aoe.
Everyone should always sim themselves as stat weights change with gear, trinkets and whatever borrowed power system.
Where do you acquire knowledge about your Class?
Hunter class discord, icy-veins (hunter guide is maintained by Azortharion, hunter class discord admin and a hunter theorycrafter for many years), looking up logs.

For Ny’alotha there’s basically only heroic logs from before prepatch as I’ve come back from a break since BoD without a guild, but you can see my mythic logs from every tier starting Battle of Dazar’alor and going all the way back to Siege of Orgrimmar.
Raiding History:
I started raiding at the end of MoP after SoO came out, getting cutting edge in the first tier I've raided. I joined Unlimited Ltd on Frostwhisper in WoD, getting CE in every tier with them at world 400-500. After Archimonde progress I've been a part of a weekly raid created by Nnogga and Xirips which 80+% of consisted of members of Method, Serenity and From Scratch (logs of all those raids are still on my warcraftlogs). After about 2-3 months the raid had to be cancelled, cause of weekly beta raid testing. Shortly after that I've decided to take a break from the game due to my friends quitting the game and other personal reasons.
I came back to the game 2 weeks after Nighthold release and got ready to join the progress team in less than 3 weeks. At that point the guild was a lot weaker than it was back in WoD, killing Gul'dan at world 989. Few months into ToS progress people started leaving the guild including a leadership change and the guild decided not to progress until Antorus release. At that point I decided I wanted a more serious environment and joined Anomalous on Sylvanas together with Zalaria. We finished Antorus world 311 after having roster issues on Argus (we were world 192 on Aggramar). Sadly the guild disbanded shortly after killing Argus due to the GM and 2 officers quitting the game for various reasons.
For BFA we joined Catch my towel on Chamber of Aspects, we finished the tier world 329 (peak 172 @fetid). The guild disbanded a day after we killed G'huun due to very bad atmosphere in the last few weeks of progress. Then we decided to take a bit more laid back approach due to me moving countries and we joined our old friends at Unlimited for BoD, we raided quite casually, but unfortunately the guild disbanded @Jaina due to people quitting the game and not having enough people to raid, we've killed Blockade at world 645. At that point we've stopped playing the game as well. We started playing a few months ago just catching up and doing our weekly 15's. Now looking for a serious guild for Shadowlands.
More Information:
Can you meet our raid schedule of Wed/Thur/Mon 21:00 to 00:00 server time with at least 90% attendance?
Yes, I don’t think I’ve ever missed more than one raid in a tier and most of the time maintained 100% attendance.
We also raid on Sunday at the start of a new raiding tier. Are you aware of this?
Yes
Are you able to Listen and Speak on Teamspeak?
Yes
What qualities do you bring to a Raid?
I’m an experienced, very flexible raider. I’m always prepared for the raids, looking through logs how to optimize my performance on each boss. I’m also usually playing a lot of alts, always very well geared and in the past I’ve used my alts for class stacking like balance druid on blockade, cause hunter was bad at that boss and also to fill in missing roles like I’ve used my DK when we were missing grips.
How comfortable are you playing your offspecs?
I’ll always play whatever spec is the best for the specific encounter, I’ve played survival on mythic Gul’dan, cause it was the best performing spec on that boss and we needed to cut down on ranged anyway.
How do you feel about progression raiding?
It’s what makes me want to play this game, playing casually doesn’t interest me. I’m always looking into improving my character and getting better. Progression raiding feels like the perfect fit for me.
Where did you hear about Curse of Years and do you know anyone in the guild?
I found the guild on wowprogress and no I don’t think I know anyone in the guild.
What encouraged you to apply to Curse of Years?
I want to get back into raiding properly and I’m looking for a strong guild for Shadowlands.
Do you play outside of raid?
Yes ofc. Doing m+ and like I mentioned before I usually play a lot of alts as well.
Is there anything else you'd like to add to your application?
Yes, I’m applying together with Zalaria.
