Describe your choice of talents and why you've chosen them:
1: First Tier:
Infected claws: is suboptimal in single target scenarios as it can risk you of overlapping the festering wound on the target, however, this isn't much a problem with aoe, since DK's are more likely to be burning and reapplying festering wound in a lot of targets, infected claws eases this and allows the pet to apply it to additional targets as well. despite its burst potential, it suffers in DPS over a longer span of a fight.
For this reason, it's between All Will Serve(AWS) or Clawing Shadows(CS), In progress, all will serve performs better depending on the stats and gear. Generally, AWS performs better with lower mastery (<50%). Clawing shadows sims higher since my gear has met the 50 percent mastery threshold. In most encounters, it is performed better even if it sim worse. AWS performs slightly better ST cleave, as the pet can cleave or in encounters where you have to allot of movement, generally away from the target i.e. wrathion (AWS performs slightly better).
AOE: Infected Claws
ST: Clawing Shadows
2: Tier 2: There are only really 2 choices. Bursting Sores or Ebon Fever. Unholy Blight does next to no real use in encounters and performs significantly worse than the other choices. Bursting Sores provides heavy cleave splash damage and quadratically scales based on the number of targets, compared to other talents in the game Bursting Sores does not have a target cap and thus means the aoe damage is near unlimited. For a single target, however, it performs nearly zero-damage and it only really performs well in aoe scenarios outside this its a useless talent, because of that Ebon Fever is the default choice in Single target and Bursting wound for AOE.
AOE: Bursting Sores
ST: Ebon Fever
3. Tier 3: Again 2 choices: Harbinger of Doom is the dead talent of this tier and it comes down to Soul Reaper(SR) and Pestilent Pustules(PP). PP generally performs better in a well-coordinated group usually mythic + higher keys where massive add pulls happen that need to be burned down quickly, due to the fast-paced nature of cases like those with the steady supply of rune regeneration from PP means it performs significantly better than SR. This usually down how PP works; giving you additional chance to proc runic corruptions for bursting wounds per target for 10 percent chance, with large add pulls it performs better. Outside those specific scenarios, however, its performs slightly worse usually around 2-3k DPS (for me) less than SR in single target scenarios and standard AoE pulls. SR allows me to control when I refund runes and allows me to have greater control of min-maxing a fight.
Soul Reaper is the default choice.
4. Tier 4: Situational: I chose wraith walk for the speed boost. I use this for all encounters and is based on preference. However, if an encounter is damage intensive I will go with death pact for the OMG situations or soul eater for the flat buff to AMS.
5. Tier 5: This is really a dead section, however, the only choice is Epidemic for all encounters. for MIDI or High keys or when adds have a short length of time to be alive( i.e raiding with 5+ mages in a raid group annihilating everything, i.e in Hivemind Aqir Drones), Pestilence is a clear choice. Defile is a dead talent that does minimal damage.
Epidemic is the default choice
6. Tier 6: There are only two choices. Unholy Frenzy and Army of the Damned. For flights longer than 8-10mins Army of the Damned performs slightly better as it allows you to summon army 2-3 times in the encounter. Outside of the time constraint, however, Unholy Frenz is the standout winner that performs well in every encounter. Summon gargoyle use is situational and is really only ever used in a fight that lasts as long as the bloodlust phase and relies on 2 on use trinkets and CLF, for the optimal burst. Outside of this gimmick, it performs significantly worse than the other two talents.
For those reasons, Unholy Frenzy is the default choice.
How do you prioritize your stats and why?
Haste/Mastery: Mastery buffs the Shadow Damage, Haste allows the faster regeneration of resources.
Crit=/Verse: Crit benefits all spells to critically hit, Pets benefit from more Verse. If I am using All will serve I will opt for more verse (around the 10 percent mark)

Raiding History:
Describe your previous/current raiding experience:
All previous raiding has been with A necessary evil: [url]https://www.wowprogress.com/guild/eu/hellfire/A+Necessary+Evil/rating.tier16_25[url]
BFA:
NY 6/12M (Pugs mainly)
MOP:
T16: 14/14 Siege of Ogrimmar: 272 EU, Realm First hellfire-arathor
T15: 13/13 Throne of Thunder: 148 EU, Realm First hellfire-arathor
T14: Will of the Emperor/ Sha of Fear/ Empress 302 EU, Realm First
Cata:
T15: 347 EU, Realm First
Before Cata last patch, I was mainly chilling at the time joining a few pugs here and there.
Tell us about your previous guilds and your reasons for leaving them:
A necessary evil disbanded and moved to Tarren mill after I'd left the game and came back in BFA. ANE currently has a full roster for shadowlands. After coming back to wow, I made a short move to alliance to play with some friends but realized alliance was not for me so I came back to horde. Since joining the game back, I've mainly been pugging and gearing my characters. I recently decided to get back into progression raiding which is why I am here today.
More Information:
Can you meet our raid schedule of Wed/Thur/Mon 21:00 to 00:00 server time with at least 90% attendance? Yes. This works perfectly for my schedule.
We also raid on Sunday at the start of a new raiding tier. Are you aware of this? Yes, I am.
Are you able to Listen and Speak on Teamspeak? Yes
What qualities do you bring to a Raid?
I'm analytically inclined, I know my class well, I'm well-prepped using weak aura, ERT, and Sims. I make sure to be mechanically sound well before encounters and vocal during raids. For less melee friendly raid boss encounters I'm able to switch to hunter during prog or sit one out.
How comfortable are you playing your offspecs?
I have played DPS Frost and Unholy for a few expansions in raids. I have tanked bosses before in raids but not to a massive extent. I have swapped out my DK for my hunter for bosses that aren't melee friendly.
How do you feel about progression raiding?
The only reason I play, to be honest
Where did you hear about Curse of Years and do you know anyone in the guild?
I heard of your guild when arathor first merged with hellfire(Before I took a break). I don't think I know anyone yet
What encouraged you to apply to Curse of Years?
A great guild with an atmosphere dedicated to strong progress while still having a fun raiding atmosphere.
Do you play outside of raid?
yes, I play with friends in PVP, recently mythic + and help random pugs with keys. I enjoy pugging so much im part of a community.
Is there anything else you'd like to add to your application? No
Tell us a joke: Corruptions
