Describe your choice of talents and why you've chosen them:
It all depends on the fight. I will discuss in order of tiers, and use simple terms instead of hunter lingo.
Tier 1 – A burst below 35% target health, or more overall damage, I usually go for more overall damage unless the fight has a soft enrage p3 @ Vexiona HC or Nzoth soft enrage (inapplicable to nzoth HC where half room is empty even with the soft enrage in p3).
T2 – A double target cleave, or higher overall damage on single target. Again, depends on the fight, with double target like psychus + tentacle maybe I would go chimera shot, but its not like you want to be cleaving psychus with 50%-200% increased dmg, and single targeting tenties then hard-switch psychus means the single target T2 is better.
T3 – m+ talents and a raid talent, raid talent obviously.
T4- A keep uptime on crit talent or a dot with a 1 min CD, usually the uptime talent. The Dot resets on the target's death so maybe its good on some fights where you need to switch between multiple adds that last at least 14 seconds (not tenties).
T5- Some more M+ stuff, the only useful talent is binding shot for illgynoth CC on mind controlled ppl, and born to be wild reduces our immunity CD.
T6- No flexibility here, Stomp does more AoE than other talents, maybe barrage with adds that spawin every 20 seconds and die quickly.
T8- A higher overall dmg talent and a burst talent, again it depends on the fight, but I usually go with the former.
How do you prioritize your stats and why?
Crit, it resets our barbed shot and gives us more uptime on 90% frenzy on our pets. Higher crit also procs dance of death which gives me 4000+ more main stat for 8 seconds. Mastery and haste are both second to crit.
Where do you acquire knowledge about your Class?
Hunter discord mostly, and just thinking about what’s best for the fight. E.g. Aspect of the Beast may sim higher for N’zoth HC, but going into Killer Cobra for higher burst in the first intermission to have a better p3 would be a better idea to dps N’zoth in the 25 second window.

– I raid led 12/12HC on release. This is our vexiona kill (bare in mind no metas exist on release, these were hand-made tactics). Also swapxy/raiku/Whazz (blizzcon winners) were talking during and at start, that's not me. I have my own pug community and we killed CoS HC EU First and clear all tiers on release (or day after).

Please look at the logs details, even if I have a blue Nzoth log, I did number 1 damage to Nzoth, because I asked the raid to save CDs on Psychus (we just killed one extra tentacle before his 100 energy enrage), and bursted Nzoth in intermissions than just zerged p3.
Raiding History/describe your previous/current raiding experience: Like I said, I raid lead pugs, I have multiple cutting edges, and have been interested in getting back into guild raiding now with the removal of titanforging because mythic gear now has meaning again and this tier looks long and interesting.
Tell us about your previous guilds and your reasons for leaving them: Last guild I left disbanded on Jaina because their progress was too slow. I stopped after that.
More Information: Our pug community is the top in the world. I usually filter ppl every tier and most have orange avg HC logs. Its always a good time but unfortunately mythic isn't X-realm for 3-4 months every tier, meaning the boys cant do mythic.
Can you meet our raid schedule of Wed/Thur/Mon 21:00 to 00:00 server time with at least 90% attendance? Yes. I prefer your schedule as its 1 hour later than most guilds.
We also raid on Sunday at the start of a new raiding tier. Are you aware of this? No problem.
