Describe your choice of talents and why you've chosen them: since i would prefer playing disc i would go over the disc talents and if you want me to go over the shadow talents aswell let me know:
T1: its basically schism in every raid encounter. schism allows us to have a very nice burst healing window and we dont rely on procing ToF from low health targets. it overall just has a better uptime than ToF. even after the nerf to the interaction with things like crucible and the cyclotronic blast it will be the bis choice here. castigation just has poor numbers.
T2: feather basically all the time. its our only mobility so it can be very valuable. for low movement fights that require insane amounts of healing there can be a case for masochism made.
T3: solace just sims better than mindbender overall. it also works really well with our schism window for even more burst healing although there might be a fight that has really good timings that would make the 1 min cooldown on the mindbender good which is pretty unlikely.
T4: just situational cc. dominant mind is basically never picked and shining force has some niche usecases like on azshara to kick the adds away from the middle platform.
T5: sins of the many basically in every fight. there have been some people going shadow covenant on some fights like grong although even there im not a fan of it. sins just gives us so much dmg and covenant ist mostly just there to push healing rankings. the heal absorb doesnt appear on the meters although it is probably mostly just going to get healed away passively through ground effects or other hots after big burst dmg has gone out.
T6: purge on multidot fights and halo for pure single target. PTW can save a lot of globals and get us nice passive healing through our dot. halo can be really good in our envang for even bigger burst healing.
T7: basically always evangelism. its the way we can get atonements up on a large amount of players and heal them up afterwards. lenience can be used on some fights. josh for example went leniece on uunat to get dmg reduction on his tanks.
How do you prioritize your stats and why? disc can basically always go for highest ilvl although i try being at least at 25% haste. if i have enough haste i want to get good crit while also having enough vers for prog. even after the coming mastery buff i would try to avoid it if given the choice and not having to go down in ilvl. it just increases our healing while the other stats increase healing and dmg at the same time.

Raiding History:
Describe your previous/current raiding experience: since i only started raiding i barely have any exp. i got 3/8 uldir and 6/9 in bod with my mage and now 6/8 with my priest in ep. i just got randomly into the guild i am in right now. my experience currently is pretty bad since i feel like im one of the only people trying to research bosses and do some extra work like bethics etc while other people cant even get their m+ weekly done.
Tell us about your previous guilds and your reasons for leaving them: like i said above i feel like other people dont try around me and i want to play in a guild where everyone else cares as much as i do. i even had to explain boss mechanics to my raidlead.

What qualities do you bring to a Raid? i would say i can play my class to a decent level and try to improve constantly doing research. i am mechanically pretty good.
How comfortable are you playing your offspecs? im very comfortable playing shadow but i havent really touched holy yet but afaik it is pretty easy to get into it compared to disc. if its the better spec ill happily learn playing holy.
How do you feel about progression raiding? i enjoy overcoming a big challenge and getting that super close first kill.
Where did you hear about Curse of Years and do you know anyone in the guild? i got messaged on wowprogress
What encouraged you to apply to Curse of Years? i would like to play in a guild that wants to get good prog ranks and everyone carries their weight
Do you play outside of raid? yes but only the mandatory things like m+. islands and wqs. i dont like playing for cosmetics.
