I will go to medical school in october.
I started WOW back in Cataclysm and fell in love with raiding and the game itself.
before I started WOW, I was playing alot Warcraft 3 competitve.
Since WOD wasn't my favorite Addon, I went on a break playing Dota 2 until November 18 with the end of Uldir in BFA.

Describe your choice of talents and why you've chosen them:
Demon Hunter currently have two different main builds which you change depending completely on the specific fight. These builds consists of two different talents; Demonic Appetite and Immolation Aura or Felblade and Demon Blades. I'll refer these builds to DA or FB/DB.
Take Blackwater Behemoth as an example this is a fight which is a pain in the ass for melees in general due to the lack of movement in water. When you're playing FB/DB you have another source as movement which also regenerates Fury and does damage at the same time. This is perfect as a gap closer during this fight because you have to go out to soak Bioluminescent Cloud and when you get pushback from Shock Pulse. More uptime on the boss = more damage. The DA build is just tedious for this fight because you always have to stay on the ground and move around, you basically never want to move around here due to the 5 yard range to avoid damage.
The DA build is a bit more RNG because every Chaos Strike/Annihilation has a chance to spawn a lesser soul fragment which grants you fury and heals for a bit. However this talent setup grants you the ability to use your standard fury regen Demon's Bite. This makes the talent setup more reliable due to FB/DB having some moments of downtime where you have to weave in Throw Glaive. This setup also sims higher which makes it a higher possibility of damage (atleast for me). I basically use this talent setup whenever I can move freely without taking damage. This I can use during Radiance better than FB/DB due to the decreased cooldown of Eye Beam so I can fit more Eye Beams into the add phase.
The builds are close together when it comes to damage but in the end it basically comes down to preference on how you like to play and how well you can execute your gameplay with each of the talent setups.
How do you prioritize your stats and why?

personally, I always resim my statprios, eventhought right now Versa Crit scale about the same, I prefer versa more, since it has also a defensive component with the damage reduction which is very useful in progressive content. Also with the Trinkets you use right now as Demonhunter (Ashvance + Inkpod) 1. you get alot of Crit during the trinket which makes versa even better when u use it. Also versa works still with inkpod (eventhought a potential crit with inkpod is way better, but thats why u combine it with asvane).
Haste you only need a certain amout, highly depends on which azerite traits you have, for example if you stack furios gaze, you get plenty of haste and don't need to rely on it. I go for about ~12-15% haste.
Master you don't want it under any circumstances only if it sims higher or you have a socket. (need to sim it)
simply: Versa=Crit(prefer Versa though)>Haste>Mastery
Mainhand Weapon dmg also is most important ofc. on Offhand you rather have a decent procc (Underot weapon for example) ilvl doesnt even matter on most cases
Where do you acquire knowledge about your Class?
Warcraftlogs
Twitch streams from top 100 Players and high M+ Players

Raiding History:
in BFA I started with my last guild https://www.wowprogress.com/guild/eu/th ... aysleepers BOD mythic
Describe your previous/current raiding experience:
I was raiding 4 days a week from 00:00-03:00 which was abit too much for me, also since I'm working + study I do not
have the time to raid so late. Usually my experience so far is very different from most guilds I think. We were using much spreadsheets
to track all kind of stuff (Keys, AP per Week etc.) Altlists for Splitraids and gearing for potential next content which was kinda stressfull, but I had no problem since im Multiboxing 3 chars in case something else is needed. But mostly I played with DH in raid and I push Keys with my Rogue to equip alts from other members or mainraiders. In raiding itself I'm most of the time very flexible doing the "shitjobs" or special assignments for example on blockade I debuffed the big adds, soaked and cleaned + killed the sirens while my other DH mate was padding :D.
Tell us about your previous guilds and your reasons for leaving them:
Reason kinda stated above, I had no time for raiding so late and when we were on Jaina progress everything got hectic, I helped them to find a decent replacement for me played about 150 tries and then had a break until the next content since I was pretty much done with BOD.
More Information:
Can you meet our raid schedule of Wed/Thur/Mon 21:00 to 00:00 server time with at least 90% attendance?
yes.
We also raid on Sunday at the start of a new raiding tier. Are you aware of this?
++
Are you able to Listen and Speak on Teamspeak?
sure
What qualities do you bring to a Raid?
How comfortable are you playing your offspecs?
I don't like playing tank on DH, it feels really weird and I'm not a fan about it, although I'm comfortable playing other classes
like I used to raid hardcore in cata as Holy pally and in MOP as monktank the whole expansion and in BFA I played both speccs but only on casual bases. Right now my chars are: DH/Rogue/Brewmaster/Pally/WL thats also my prioty in what I would to play it for futue contents if needed.
How do you feel about progression raiding?
I used to only progress bosses in my last guild, after we had bosses on farm we swapped to alts and trials to fill other spots.
I don't mind about farmcontent, but rather raid after we have cleared to 2 days a week or gearing alts to have better options for the next content.
Where did you hear about Curse of Years and do you know anyone in the guild?
Nagassh approached me on WOWprogress
What encouraged you to apply to Curse of Years?
I do like a stable roster, also the time schedule is perfect for me and I would love to finally play in a nongerman guild :D.
Do you play outside of raid?
I love to play M+ (S2 pushed to 2k in the beginning of the season) Mountfarming/achievementruns etc.
Is there anything else you'd like to add to your application?
I had a setback since I started in week 4 only with EP so I lost quite alot of time of progession, but I'm pretty sure I could be a good improvement/fit to your guild.
